- In an exclusive interview with India Today, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra spoke about the cash-for-query allegations leveled against her by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nishikant Dubey and refuted all the charges.
Refuting the allegations, Mahua Moitra said, "Anyone can make an allegation, but the onus is always on the complainant to prove those allegations. I have read the so-called affidavit submitted to the Parliament Ethics Committee. There's no mention of Rs 2 crore cash given to me in the affidavit. If cash is being given, please tell the date and provide all the documentary evidence."

1. Whether she had any proof of two MPs bribing her on behalf of Adani?
2. If she had/had not, why didn't she go to the police/media and simply expose Adani then and there? If she didn't trust Delhi Police, she could've gone to WB Police and dalla journalists like you. Why did she wait for someone to raise allegations on her such as "cash for query"?
3. Why did her lawyer Gopal Sankarnarayanan contact Jai Anant Dehadrai and asked for a settlement a night before the first hearing? Mr. Sankarnarayanan quit the case the next day when the judge reprimanded him for trying a settlement when he was the defense in Mahua's defamation case against Nishikant Dubey and JA Dehadrai.

I am surprised by the fact that she worked in the past Private banking in Multi nationals. Anyone using email or other company or any system should have the terms and conditions like Do not share your ID and password , and OTP. I am sure NIC will have such rule especially when dealing with sacred and secure institutions like Parliament. Did other MPs share their ID and password to a Corporate freind.? Her secretary typing the question is different from a Corporate friend /secretary typing, sitting in Dubai or other places typing the questions in a Parliament portal. She can visit abroad and type from there but not a friend who is given her ID and password. totally unacceptable.
