I love the color coding the notebooks. I am planning that this year. Also, I am planning on using a bookmark for the journals. I teach 3rd grade and they just can't seem to understand "the next blank page." They flop it open and go from there. They waste so much paper that way. Thank you for the ideas.
I can so relate to the Astrobrites laminated scraps! My high schoolers lose their bookmarks. My thoughtful, crafty mother gave me some funky 80's disco duct tape (thinking I would use it???!!), so I cut small strip and went around making tabs in each of their journals for the start of the new quarter. Yes, it was time-consuming but I got to chat with each student while doing this and scored some cred with my "cool idea Mrs. D", haha! And it was free! Your video was great and btw you give me skin envy, your skin is so beautiful!
Omg I can’t believe I’m barely seeing this comment! So sorry! I’m sure they loved the extra time with you! 💕💕 and thank you for the compliment! You made my day!
I have a "tidy tub" for every table group. When we cut paper, scraps go in. At the end of the activity, the tidy tubs get emptied into the trash can. No more scraps all over the place.
I use a teacher apron. That way I always have my phone, tools, etc. with me and dont waste time looking for them thousands time a day. You can also put inside the pockets your doorbell button.
Wowza! Just stapled the shoe rack horizontally to hold our class headphones! So thankful your YOU!
I’m so glad it helped!! Have a great year but enjoy your summer too! 💕
Thank You! ❤

That lid bin is a great idea! Even in high school the glue stick lids grow legs and walk away.... WHAT IS UP WITH THAT??? :)
