  • Highlights from the well subscribed Caplin cup at Ringwood Cheetahs. This year the first heats were nudge and spin will the later races being full contact. The day had a perfect mixture of tin, crashes and wrecks... just a shame you can only see about 50% of the track! However, the spectator area was much improved since my last visit!

It's a shame to see some old classics and stolen cars smashed up for fun by these low intelligence vandals

@@papaarchie9095 unlike the stolen ones at Ringwood recently then? Again shows how stupid you'd be to pay good money to smash up a classic car. Mindless

If you don't like it . . Don't watch it . . You won't stop it . . . Enthusiasts who leave classics to go to dust in there garages or barns or whatever, are just as bad . . . Most classic car clubs will not buy these cars and save them,so,instead of moaning, just don't click on it.

You know I see comments like this all the time on banger racing videos when classic cars are being raced so I’ll tell you the real reason why these cars end up on these tracks.
Restoring classic cars is expensive and time-consuming. I knew a friend once who tried restoring an old Volkswagen but he got so fed up and tired on trying to restore it, he ended up selling the car at a massive loss because he spent so much money trying to restore the damn thing.
Maybe you should try and concentrate on saving the Ford Mondeo’s now, I remember back in 2003 you could buy a Ford Granada for like something like £100, Mk1 or Mk2. none of the classic car enthusiasts cared at the time that they were getting destroyed, they only started caring when they started becoming rare.
Not like that matters anymore, we are now starting to move on to electrical and hydrogen cars, so good luck trying to get a classic car to run on the roads in the future, let alone today when the fuel prices are so astronomically expensive.
      Hope you understand now.
