Very cool! But it is necessary to point out that, in order to develop the games, so that the population is participative, a state structure that provides a basis for knowledge, through Academys, through work experience. Still, the State is a fundamental part so that these public policies can be thought by the citizen. Here, where I'm talking from, the city the speaker spoke of, Porto Alegre in Brazil, she mentions the Participatory Budget (Orçamento Participativo), which was a public policy for the inclusion of society, but which today, in 2021, no longer exists. Unfortunately in Brazil, we are having a destructuring of our State, so we lost democracy because we lost more and more popular participation, which was already low!

Still remember that evening you presented in your featured way on the stage of the Hart House cinema, to advocate political woman's leadership. "Good job, enjoyed" that was what I said to you. Like yesterday!

Anyone who was really interested by the Fold It and World Without Oil game examples should look up the World of Warcraft Corrupted Blood Incident. Scientists have since studied it and used it as a model for real plague/sickness outbreak scenarios.

It's a cute idea but I feel that this will have a tendency to backfire. Sure sometimes the best solution is held by those who don't have power to change things, those guys need to be heard and considered. But using this idea how exactly would anyone propose we vett out the stupid moronic and bigoted ideas? A comity consisting of elected officials? That's almost the system you have now isn't it?
People should have more input in their local policies but the power of decision? I see that turning out good sometimes but mostly bad. More power to the people but not too much. Politicians are corrupt becasue they are people, weak corruptable human people.

0:43 Solving one aspect of the problem inherently unravel s others.
I agree with that statement just like the one child policy of china resulted in people choosing to abort their girl babies or to give them for adoption....Chinese parents wanted to have sons not daughters.....
