As a man who enjoys cooking for his children, thank you. I have made several bento for my daughters with cute onigiri and vegetables. Always wanted to try katsu bento.
My dad was the cook in our family, I have many wonderful memories of his delicious cooking. I’m certain your daughters appreciate you now and will appreciate you even more when they’re older.
i can’t imagine how much effort and energy making all these meals must take. even when you have weeks you feel off or like you can’t do it every day, you’re doing so much!! and you’re sharing it with all of us, too, and showing us what really and truly caring about your meals looks like. thank you!
Can we just appreciate imamu's hard work. I tried cooking during my days off. The amount of effort and hours in just doing grocery, preparing the ingredients, the cooking, and the cleaning after is immense. Although the experience is really rewarding but still, after that, I decided to just keep being a working lady and get food deliveries. Lol
yeah, honestly being a housewife is more work than 99% of jobs that working people do. People always think that housewives are just "spoiled" and lazy, and the husbands do all the hard work but in reality its the opposite: housewives work 24/7 and dont even get paid, whereas working husbands only work on average 40 hours a week and they get paid and they get all their food and stuff prepared for them. I'm not a morning person either but due to me having to go to work and kids who sometimes prefer to bring their own meal rather than buying, I force myself (😂) to cook lunch for us to bring to work/school. To make things easier and faster I usually do a meal-prep the night before. I'll seasoned/marinated the proteins and keep them in tightly shut containers in the fridge, prepare and boil/steam the veggies and keep them in the fridge too, prepare some broth if we want soupy meals for our packed lunch. It'll be much easier in the morning to just fry or grill the already seasoned proteins and make some soup to go coz I've prepared them all the night before.

I have always been a very bad cook, I burn things and don't know what to do if I don't have a recipe. I waste ingredients and money because things I make turn out so bad. I'm new to this whole thing!! So it definitely helps having someone to explain it!
i am glad to discover this chanel, it s my safe place now when i feel moody, i watch one of your video 🥰
By taking a day for yourself when you needed it, you DID survive the week! It is absolutely healthy to take a break when you need it, the important thing is that you get back to it when you can :)
Thank you as always for making these, my home cooking has become more delicious since I started watching your channel, and (mostly) healthier!
I love you Imamu
Your devotion is commendable. Thanks for the inspiration
I have always been a very bad cook, I burn things and don't know what to do if I don't have a recipe. I waste ingredients and money because things I make turn out so bad. It came to the point where I just didn't even try anymore. I watch so many cooking videos but nothing motivated me. But Imamu, your videos inspired me to try to cook again finally. I started last week. Today I cut an onion for the first time in my life! And I am 30 years old... uuuu T_T Haha, anyway the meal turned out great and I shared with my mom, so thank you for sharing your cooking videos~~ I think I will keep up and be healthier by cooking my own food!!!
Awesome job! It's never too late to start learning to cook so don't feel bad about starting late or anything else! Improvement always takes a while but it's always worth it! ^^ Keep it up!
These meals are full of so much love and care! No wonder you got burnt out!
Remember to take care of yourself, and be kind to yourself!
If I got meals like that, it would always be the best part of my day. I hope your husband appreciates what you do for him. Everything looks so delicious.🤗😍

Hello Imamu I like what you said about fried rice, having a lot of the good stuff you enjoy eating. I also like to eat my fried rice in this manner! You are such a sweet and gentle soul, please don't get discouraged about not finishing the week! We are all rooting for you and your nice family :)

your husband's coworkers are probably sooo jealous of his lunch every day hehe
I am utterly lost for words..... the time and effort you put into these meals for your husband is extraordinary. I don't even get a ham sandwich!
Imamu: shows us how she applies batter and flour gracefully
Me: does the same thing but comes out with clumpy hands-
You did survive though! You made it! Thank you for sharing your videos and husbentos! I always watch them when I’m really sad and they always cheer me up and make me feel better
Please take care of yourself 🥺💗! It’s okay to take a break sometimes
Simply gorgeous! So much love put into a week of bento boxes! I'm so happy I found your channel🤗🎈
Oh to be Imamu’s husband and have plentiful fulfilling lunches every day 🥰
Usually these kind of videos bore me out, but I can watch your videos for hours and still enjoy them. Everyone has times when they just don’t want to do anything, and it’s okay. Take a break and do it when you want to. As long as you enjoy it🥰
A wow wife:) your husband must be very proud and happy to have you as a wife :)
i could literally cry over these bento meals
If the meal you made on Friday was you "running out of steam," then I call foul because it was super yummy looking and not at all a lazy meal!!! Great job~~~~
