That's a possibility I have the same problem in my 2013 Impala if I drive it in a winter I'll just pull the compressor relay out of the fuse box and then a compressor goes off or replace that or maybe it could be the AC switch on the dash isn't working right
I have a Maserati ghibli 2016 with exactly the same problem, its under warranty but the dealer has tried to tell me its normal for a Ghibli 2016.. which I suspect is BS.... did you find a solution?
I have a 2017 armada does the same thing, my advice forget about the manual use automatic only set your temperature and just be happy the ac compressor is working, especially when you live in 100+ weather.
My BMW does the same. Blows warm ot temperature air. I scanned it with a BMW cheap scanner and it says the automatic climate Control module is defective.
A 2006 camry I have right now is doing this, I've pinpointed it to a fault in the AC head unit itself (the knobs). Something fails internally and shorts it to be ON all the time, at first I thought it was a failed pressure switch but I'm getting real close to solving this
IF THE DEFROST OR DEFOG IS ON THE A/C COMPRESSOR WILL RUN DUE TO DRYING THE AIR. IT LOOKS LIKE DEFROST WAS ON.
And no solution. Thanks.
Any solutions or reasons why the compressor is acting in that way?
Same in my car nissan tiida compressor no on/off cycle... Everything is normal no icing issue.. I dont know if this is normal.
Ok....whats the solution!?!?!
looks like a relay stuck close

Same problem on my car..only thing different is that my car is blowing warm air.

I have the same problem clutch is engaged even with ac off, with hot air being blown and ac never getting cold.
Did you ever figure it out?

Hi did you figure the problem?
@@tywanbrimage8388 Yes it was a bad AC pressure switch
Ok thanks
Check humidity sensor if you have one or the thermostat 👍🏽
