hi drs, I just go through this recording and for the second scenario I have a question. When should the colposcopy done since she is 16 weeks pregnant ? if according to BSSCP guidelines colposcopy for suspected CIN 2/3 , repeat at the end of 2nd trimester, is it around 26-27 weeks? thanks
Hi. Thanks for the question. 2nd trimester is preferable but may not be feasible or advisable that late in pregnancy as it may be technically difficult, vascularity increases. Gestation is not specified but 16 weeks may be a good time to do.
