I just have to let you know that my 6-year-old son is on the autism spectrum. He has trouble getting to sleep at night, but since we've discovered your videos, at bedtime each night he asks to watch "the paint lady". I think your soothing voice helps him calm down to sleep. :)
Absolutely stunning!! Being from India I loved how you took the ethnic design and converted it into dot art!! It was fun to see the design come to life. And just as I was thinking about the corners you decided to add something to them!! This gave me a wonderful inspiration for a wall I have been wanting to cover with dot art!! Thank you for sharing!!
OMG! It is so easy with a stencil!!! I do it by hand and eye hahahahaha!!!!! Thank you Kristin for all you do for everyone, you are amazing.... gratitude....
Wow Kristin! This is stunning! I love the inspiration idea. You open our eyes to possibilities. I have to agree with Kerri Hiner...this is a mind explosion!
Just gorgeous! Thanks for telling us your favorite paint and tools you use. The Golden Iridescent paint is one I'll have to get now. Love your videos! Those wedding sarees are simply extraordinary with their colors and jewels! I love Indian clothing so much! Pink and yellow/gold.
Kristin, This one is simply amazing & wonderful!!! I never thought my wedding saree colors looked so beautiful till I saw this. Really can’t wait to try it out. Thank you so much for the tutorial 😊
It looks so beautiful & sparkly, and like the stencil idea. Thank you for sharing Kristen.Truly the Golden fluid "Gold" is just amazing. It seems that you give the cheaper craft paints a boost of pigment when mixing with the Golden fluids, and more fluidity. 💕
Kristin Uhrig omg I've been looking everywhere for this stencile cuz I want to do this 1 so bad I'm hoping to find it and not have to wait and order it do u know what name of the stencile? Noe that you've done some stencikes I can only image the ones your going to come out with next
I came across your video on Red Dahlia not too long ago and I must confess I'm so impressed. i'm a not so experienced garden and happened to be searching videos on flowers. i'm so inspired with your work but i'm so discouraged with the fact that I have a very poor imagination hahaha esp with mixing colors or color combination. i'm a total dummy. I feel so relaxed though watching you work. maybe someday I could find the courage to do something like this. keep it going :)
I would like to mention.. since everyone really loves the stencil (stencil ideas, mandala colouring books for purchase and whatnot..) there is an Android app called 'Spider Draw'... It's phenomenal at creating ANY kind of mandala you can make.. literally just change the pencil size to almost anything under 12.. and draw one line from one side of the page in an arch to the opposite side. And BOOM perfect mandala.. I am occupied for HOURS AND DAYS at a time watching your videos and of course using spider draw.. you can create AMBUGRAMS as well...
Kristin, I just want to type “beautiful” until the words fill up the entire screen! I was like a child at Christmas when I saw the notification that your tutorial was posted. I cannot wait to try my hand at this, but until then, I will keep watching this video. Watching you create this piece is like unwrapping a present. 🙂 I have one question, are you using the larger end of your Essence manicure stylus on this piece? I’m asking because I tend to choose too large of a size for walking dots. Thank you for sharing your God given talent with the rest of us. 🙂
Hi, Lori! Yes, I am using the stylus for most of the walking. . For the very first dots around the center dot, however, I am using the polymer clay sculpting tool with the fine ball point.
The blue and purple is gorgeous! I bought stencils only because I wanted to make sure I had all of the supplies needed. I've only done one Mandela this morning. I'm trying to figure out the consistency of the paint. Is it best for it to be thicker? And then do you wipe the tool off each time before dipping it back in the paint?
Hello...this is lovely! I bought the crochet hooks and stylus that you suggested in other videos. Can you tell me how they correspond to the new tools you have? (Related to sizes...in confused)
Your work is absolutely amazing! Where do you purchase your crystals? I see yours are in small containers and can't seem to find them. Thanks for your inspiring work!!
I so enjoy your videos. I especially like this one. May I ask where I can get a stencil like the one you used here? I''d quite like to be able to buy one. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent.
Hi there, wonderful mandala, may I sai you where did you buy that stendili? I love it very much. Do you address me where I get not too expensive ones? Thank you so much. I watch all your art works, I like them very much😘
Kristin, can you please tell me where you got this stencil and what it is called, thank you and I love your tutorials they make it so easy to follow along
If you outline the mandala with a white charcoal pencil, tape the paper to your canvas so it stays in place and rub the back with something with a smooth surface (edge of a ruler) the lines will transfer onto the black canvas. Once that's done you can strengthen the lines by going over them with the charcoal pencil after you lift off the paper.
Kellie Evetts yes u can but you would need to have a white background 1st I've painting canvas using carbon paper as well not sure how well it would show up on black though so youd either need to have a background that was a color that u could see the csrbon paper on or just leave it white but also the carbon paper transfer can smear eaisly so maybe something u should try doing a small one to test out

Hello...this is lovely! I bought the crochet hooks and stylus that you suggested in other videos. Can you tell me how they correspond to the new tools you have? (Related to sizes...in confused)
This is stunning. How long did this take? Do you have a rough guess? TFS
Beautiful! Whats your opinion on doing it without a stencil? Would I be able to get the finish without one?
Your work is absolutely amazing! Where do you purchase your crystals? I see yours are in small containers and can't seem to find them. Thanks for your inspiring work!!
Beautiful! Thank you. Would Liquitex acrylics work for this?
Trabalho com Mabdalas 15 anos mas a técnica pontilhismo me fasina . ADORO.
Bellissimo, complimenti.

Precioso. Me encantaría poder comprar uno.
Hola, Kristin!
Por favor puedes decirme donde puedo comprar las herramientas que usas para puntillismo?
Gracias!!
Sol.
so beautiful
I can't find the large tool kit! Is there a specific brand name you use?
Hermoso!!!
Kristin, can you please tell me where you got this stencil and what it is called, thank you and I love your tutorials they make it so easy to follow along
I bought it at Michale's online. It doesn't have a number but I think it was called a "doily" rather than a mandala stencil.
bellissimo !!!!!!!
Awesome
Such a tool for drawing
It's beautiful! How long it take you to finish it?
Because I was designing this as I worked, I took longer to think about what colors to use net, ect. So I think it took around five hours.
I just wish i could have one of those with me now
Magnifique
Can you use the " heat" iron type Swarovski crystals or will the glue do something to the adhesive and crystals fall off?
I have used them and so far they are saying on.
Tiene mucho trabajo pero queda súper lindo
I wonder if, using carbon paper, you could transfer designs from mandala colouring pages?
If you outline the mandala with a white charcoal pencil, tape the paper to your canvas so it stays in place and rub the back with something with a smooth surface (edge of a ruler) the lines will transfer onto the black canvas. Once that's done you can strengthen the lines by going over them with the charcoal pencil after you lift off the paper.
Kellie Evetts yes u can but you would need to have a white background 1st I've painting canvas using carbon paper as well not sure how well it would show up on black though so youd either need to have a background that was a color that u could see the csrbon paper on or just leave it white but also the carbon paper transfer can smear eaisly so maybe something u should try doing a small one to test out
Uuse tracing paper for sewing, comes in white
FYI, you can find white graphite paper on Amazon. 😉
Lori Pare oooooh really thats so awesome
do you hold your dotting tool at a slant or straight up and Down?
Maravilhoso!
