@@donaldstanfield8862 I tend to agree, but I have seen anchors be serious on camera but very comical in real life. I think it depends on the corporate culture of the place and people he worked for. I've also seen the news people do both on camera, serious reporting with a quirky comment to add some humanity to it. Of course he could have been a soft news or in-depth guy.

Ugh not like this!!! That song was always on 24/7 it seems like & driving on New Smyrna beach you could hear it blaring from everyone’s car radio ( yes it’s true there used to be radio stations) and if that wasn’t bad enough, it was continuously on repeat since the radio stations were competing for listeners.. dreaded Spring Breakers who took over local hangouts & dance floors were nonexistent.. too bad some of the rude invasive species would slip on their own banana Rama peels 🤭🤢🤮🤠🥴🙄

One thing that will be forgotten after quarantine; High fives! I have a feeling that the next generation will have no idea what a high five even is! It will feel so weird and wrong to give them.
Nah I don’t think so. You can just wear gloves and give people high fives like that. I think hugging will be the problem. I mean unless you wear a hazmat suit but that’s kinda unrealistic. Either way once quarantine has been over for a couple months and a vaccine is out we can probably go back to hugging

My mother used to buy the Christmas presents early in January, for real cheap and little competition. She was pretty darn good at hiding them away too.

Hell, one year I left the tree up all year long so I didn't have the hassle of putting it up again ....... dang, that was one dusty tree and ornaments when it did come down ...... yes it was an artificial tree

You are a hoot, Penn! When I worked from home, my door to my room had to to be closed... and there were no interruptions.. imprisoned in my room...my breaks and lunches were walking the neighborhood to “find” anyone to talk to....
As a teacher, I 100% want school in August, too! I miss my kiddos!
I can relate but instead I miss my teachers. The worst part is I’m going into high school so I’ll probably never be able to see my old teachers again which sucks

Shannon Hudgins I actually am planning on doing that. My little brother is going into 6th grade and he’s going to the sane middle school I went too so that’ll be a good chance to see them again

I am lucky that I teach band, so I will get to see most of my "babies" next year in class. I assist high school, so I will even get to see the ones who move up. What sucks is the lost contest assessment they worked so hard for, our last two concerts for the year are cancelled and the awards banquet had to happen virtually :(

Found a small bottle of pickle juice. Thought that had been in my cupboard. That was some vodka and golden. Oh yeah. Marine Corps war veteran died we just go to hell and regroup. That and menopause you would not want to meet me outside right. Snort! Stay home homeless kids stay home. We will if you do that. God I want to go outside and fix my garden....barely keeping my succulent alive in my living room. How is it thatMarines take care of their own but can kill an air fern?

Thank God, and you guys, for these videos. You’re a bright spot in my day...From a 68 y/o recent retiree, just went through a second stroke, stopped smoking after 50+ years, family out of state, loop recorder implanted Friday, shall I go on? My COVID test was negative, though!
No, I'm not done with this year! (Firstly, It's my birthday on Wednesday, not that I know what I/we can do to celebrate, even with lockdown easing here in South Australia with no active cases.) Mostly, my terminal elderly mother will turn 80 in September... if she makes it that far. I'm over Covid-19, but I can't wish away precious time with my dying mother, whether she passes away this year or next. Yeah, I'm so over the many doctor's appointments, whether by phone or in person. It's autumn here now, almost winter. We're having LOTS of rain after the summer from hell with bushfires. But no matter what, My time with my almost-80yr old mother is so precious. Our goal is that 80 mark. Don't wish my time away. I know you're singing in fun - and I love that ❤ - but time is still precious to many people, even in this horrible time. Great singing as always, though. How you can switch from one song to another always amazes me. Obviously it's lots of practise, huh... or just a gift/talent you have along with your many other talents. Some unsolicited advice from my friend who got it from her cousin? Don’t mourn mom before she’s gone. You’ll have plenty of time to do that after. Right now spend happy joyful time (as much as possible).
I’m not sure if that helps you at all but it stuck with me. Really helped in my mom’s final weeks. ❤️

@@danarobinson6500 well, I'm normally his teacher since we've always homeschooled. But he always looked forward to telling the mailman what he was learning each day. Now he doesn't even get that. And all our co-op stuff was canceled, so no craft days or playdates or field trips. Even the end of year banquet was canceled.
So many people think homeschooling is just staying home by yourself all day, but we're actually very social and this is hurting us just as much as it's hurting public schoolers. :(
It's amazing that when we start a new year, everything is great for one day and then heck breaks loose

This year's not even halfway through, and who knows about next year. Take a day at the time, and the opportunity to be together at home. Enjoy your children, that time together can be a gift, and a blessing, and the best memories ever.
Make the best with what you have got. Count your blessings, count them one by one. Go in the yard and get something done. Plant a vegetable garden together. If you have no seeds, look around the kitchen and see what can grow outside. If you have old seeds try them. Most old seeds grow just fine, might take a little longer to sprout though. No hurry anyways. Sit in the yard and watch the plants grow. Read a nice book and learn something useful while you're relaxing.

This isn't tyranny. Just because you have no sense of civic duty, national pride, or basic compassion doesn't mean that this is wrong. Toddlers scream and pitch fits when those who know better tell them what needs to be done. Adults, educated in great nations, hold more responsibility to be reasonable. So, grow up!

Today is Halloween, and I was listening to some music on shuffle as I walked to the supermarket to buy a pumpkin for a bit of last-minute carving.
This video started autoplaying just as I walked into the supermarket to discover that the basket full of pumpkins by the front door had been cleared away to make way for a large display of Christmas trees. On Halloween.
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas indeed.

I've definitely have lost all concept of time and my body clock is upside down and every which way apart from normal but then what's normal these days? I've just had my computer upgraded to Windows 10 and have spent the last week in bed reteaching myself and working out how to use it. Now that I'm addicted, what's the point of getting up? I set up with my snacks and adult beverages first thing in the morning and keep nice and warm in bed binge watching all day and night. I live alone so who cares about washing hair and frequent showers? Its getting me by which is all that counts although I havent exactly got much accomplished in the last week.
