Bismillah Khan, often referred to by the honorific title Ustad, was an Indian musician credited with popularizing the shehnai, a subcontinental wind instrument of the oboe class. Raga Rageshree (Rageshwari) is a Hindustani raga that has evolved and become popular in the past century. It has come to be known as the "Queen of Ragas".Rageshree often begins on Dha and most phrases end on Ma or Sa. The raaga is characterized by a meend (glide) from Dha to Ma and the popular ending phrase Ga Ma Re Sa.
