Ive been going to pleasure beach for over 45 years, and my mum went in the 60s when a teenager. She passed her love of the park on to me and my brother. I love it still to this day, the park is amazing and the way all the rides intertwine is what makes it in my eyes.
Long may it continue. The way they combine old and new is brilliant.

It is highly recommended and family owned since 1896.
We went on the last day of the season and had an absolutely brilliant day. Most rides were walk on. We enjoyed it so much. We did blue flyer with our little boy who is 18 months so it was his first rollercoaster and he clapped when it came into the station 🥰. He did the same on the Alice ride. The kids rides in nic land were brilliant! We were pleasantly surprised and found them much better than Flamingo land, light water valley and CBeebies land. Food in the pizza place was brill - way better than Alton Towers since Aramark took over. We bought one of those teddies in your video, some mugs a hoody and a bauble. The quality of the Merch has really increased since we last went. Only negative was that we couldn’t find anywhere near the train that we were happy to leave our pram so still have never done the PB express! Disagree with you about ice blast (PlayStation) though; I still love it! We can’t wait to go back to BPB next year!

I do every year with my mates for my b day
Ive only ever been on Infusion when it was the Traumatizer in Pleasure Land Southport, we went on a quiet day to Pleasure Land and my friend and I rode it 10 times on the trot!!! We just kept on asking them to send us rounds because no one else was there, lets just say I felt very dizzy on my train ride home. I didn't drive back then and it was 3 different ride we had to make to get home 🤨🤣
Blackpool pleasure beach is one of the most iconic places in the UK no pun intended with the Icon ride
I went on the grand national on the very back row, and yes I loved it! So much so that I was going to ride again in the back row, but the brakes seized up so the ride closed.😢
Love your videos guys. Hope you both settles in well, got a feeling Mands is doing not just the first drop but chain lift to extend to keep the title of the tallest in the uk when hyperia opens. Hope she does to preserve the 128 year history of the park.

I came here last week and everything was a walk on! Had my first ride on ICON, big one and valhalla! Loved all 3 rides, big one only ran one train and only filling half of it! Got front row on grand national and big dipper. Got back row on ICON!

I’m off to Pleasure Beach for the very first time two weeks today and I could not be more excited. Also going with someone who’s never ridden a roller coaster before so very interested to see what they think 😅

When I was little, I left Chips in the back of my grandad’s car and they went mouldy and rotten.
You missed out not doing valhalla..i was there weekend before you and the sunday afternoon i went and put my shorts and t shirt on as valhalla was walk on..lapped it 3 times and 1 ride was especially amazing..boat all to myself..every effect working. Brilliant..after 3 laps though i had to admit defeat the cold was starting to affect me

I first rode ICON in July 2018 and I have to say it's my favourite coaster, it absolutely took my breath away!

I remember when PB used to be open til 11pm during illuminations, was so relaxing sitting on the Tom Sawyer raft ride (under log flume) just taking in the lights 😊😊😊😊

My last visit to BPB was November 2021 on a glorious sunny day very much like this. Really would love to see the park consider bringing the walk round ticket back, it will make so much more foot trafgic and revenue and encourage more families who might not be able to ride every single ride or just enjoy the park and opertunity too.

I loved visiting Blackpool Pleasure Beach earlier this year! I found it really interesting that the height restrctions don't tend to follow the same pattern as those in other parks. My eldest was so excited that he could ride ICON, The Big One and Infusion whilst being 1.38m tall... he's been trying to grow for those big rides for ages! W e all thought ICON was a great coaster!! Infusion beat us up as expected, but we loved the Wallace and gromit ride and Valhalla. I was also impressed that we got some really good value Avalanche merch there. It was well worth the 4 hour drive! Well done Blackpool!

We had a fantastic day at Pleasure Beach on Sunday, it was cold and wet so we wrapped up warm, put our waterproofs on and got on lots of rides. Credit to Pleasure Beach the big one closed mid afternoon because of the weather, however once the wind dropped they reopened so we could get our end of season rides.
Got to do Pleasure Beach at some point next year guys, haven't done it for donkeys years. Thank you so much guys for your videos.
Gorgeous clear day at Blackpool Shawn. Outstanding VLOG my friend. Spent the day at Six Flags Knotts Berry Farm Tuesday, ugh! I'll never get use to saying that. Had five rides on XCELERATOR, soft open, I must say, the launch is very snappy, more than before.

One thing I've always taken away from you that whenever going on a woody to always ride on a non wheeled used to hear the Grand National as it was so uncomfortable but now riding on a non wheeled is amazing feeling including the Big Dipper so if it wasn't for you mentioning this in your vlogs I never would have known this so thanks guys

I remember Traumtizer, loved it in my youth, also remember the poorly maintained madhouse they had at Southport with the bits of carpet hanging down 😅. Shame about Southport now, it's a shadow of its former self.
I heard the ghost train is having some new scenes next year. Cannot wait to see them next season! :)

There are so many RCT Easter eggs in this entire video. “Charlotte says revelation is too intense for me” and the background which I think was filmed for rct at this park sounds the same as the game 😊

Yes Blackpool looks so good on a clear day like that - I would be very happy with an xxl style mouse to hide Alice if space permitted. Do you think Enso will continue - think I saw some of the merch for it on clearance. Look forward to piers and illuminations

Fun fact: Last time I went, on the Ghost Train, in the room after the 2nd outdoor section after the drop in the room with the wall that falls on you and the spiders, it was pitch black in there and I genuinely thought I saw a figure… Cloggy?? 😂

Big Dipper is ok and it's one of the oldest Roller coasters in the UK too and it's 100 years old almost as old as the Scenic Railway at Dreamland in Margate
Did you guys pick up any signs of Cloggy, the real ghost who allegedly haunts it when you were on the ghost train? It certainly looks extra atmospheric and not just because of the set pieces. Understand the shop under the flying machine is allegedly haunted too

you be glad you didnt do valhalla after seeing you on the flying machines i did it twice and had a spin dry on enso had to leave to warm up. Sorry did have the chance for a blether maybe closing weekend.

I went to Blackpool about month ago and ghost train was in that state then but to be fair Wallace and gromit was in a bad state when I went it looks great now looking at the POV so I'm glad they didn't leave it and leave it and leave it till closed season

We love BPB and have exactly the same views as you, can you tell me though what the old track/rail is that runs near the Big One? You can see when you’re on the Blackpool Express and it’s near to the track for a while but you can see it right at the front of the shot as you film near the station for the Big One x

Shawn, just imagine if bpb bought the for sale worlds tallest drop tower from icon park and ditched ice blast . I know someone had an accident with it but if they could see past that and retro fit seat belts it would be so so marketable. Even though icon was a hit with enthusiasts it wasn’t really marketed that great and had no usp. A ride like that would create such a stir and they would probably get it for a bargain price.

Went today for daughters 11th bday, really felt the woodies in a bad way cause of the cold wet weather 🤢 icon probably one of best rides in UK , one of the best!

Ghost train upgrades on the door automatically opening for the cars? rode this recently and thought it was less scary and the rides lost a bit of speed as well, couldnt find a review or comparison about it, but much preferred the cars bashing the doors open on the Ghost Train. What do you guys think?

Icon was the first big thrill ride I've been on (unless you count Mandrill Mayhem, Galactica or Wicker Man)... closely followed by The Big One an hour or so later because it didn't open until the last 1 hour a half.

What did you think of Spin Doctor when it was at Pleasure Beach? I never really hear it mentioned anywhere, its almost as if people don't remember it even existed! And for that matter, Bling as well!

The Wallace and Gromit ride has a lot of down times. From further away you know when it's down if the Wallace and gromit at the front/top of the ride aren't moving

I do think BPB is going to have marketing issues now that The Big One can no longer claim to be the UK's highest roller coaster. It makes me wonder if they'll modify The Big One so it has a steeper incline at the beginning.

Hey Shawn and Charlotte good to see you both safely back home, I have one question for you honestly I don’t really understand or know how on earth's you all amazing theme park enthusiasts actually enjoy going on these water rides in the unforgivable freezing cold weather temperatures blimey oh my daaaaaays folks WOWWWWWW! I’m so surprised your all extremely brave I think 🤔 this should go in the Guinness Book of World Records

Yeah, unfortunately Ice Blast hasn't been the same since at least the start of last year. I remember it was intermittently closed and having random repairs done to it... As far as I'm aware there was a problem with one of the compressors or rather the exit pipe. They have ran a temporary fix in the way of a bypass, you can see bendy black tubes a little the way up, that were never there before the start of '22 season, possibly a blockage that they can't clear, but that bypass is obviously causing pressure issues, I've had 5 rides on it this year and 4 of those 5 had to be "Reset" before sending it to let the "pressure go down"... seems pointless to try and keep it going much longer, they should just let it go and replace it, it's had a good run.
It’s definitely time for a nice replacement!

Why did they reverse the direction on the Pleasure Beach Express Train? Do you think they should change it back to the other direction?
It was to do with the track and wheels, however It would be nice to see them change it every season!

I am curious why towers and pleasure beach won't let you do povs? As often as you go to these parks for updates and whatnot. Is Merlin really just that strict of a company?
We’ve filmed some POV’s at Pleasure Beach in the past and they can be found on the channel! Unfortunately Alton isn’t as accommodating unless hiring the rides!
