- In this fourth and final episode, boss Jane is facing a tough time with profits downs, and the business struggling. In an attempt to turn things around, Jane manages to get a meeting with Bradford City Football Club, in an attempt to win a contract to supply them with match day stewards. If successful, it could lead to bigger and better things with the Club, but can she pull it off?
In 'The Job Centre' we follow larger-than-life boss Jane Vincent, who owns one of the liveliest Recruitment Agencies in Bradford. Along with her straight-talking team, they're tasked with finding jobs for the extraordinary characters who walk through the agency's doors.

I agree. When I watched the first episode, I thought she was a nasty piece of work. A few episodes later, she's actually a really nice person who cares about genuine people considering her industry is a cut-throat sector.

The guy there trying to learn English, I hope he continues trying his best. Iv been in his position trying to learn french, it was hard.
So how do you get on with it ? I know French can be tricky... I spent a while in London, ages ago. It took some time to get all innuendos and stuff. Then one morning you wake up thinking : hold on a minute. Did one dreamed in English ? As for now : forever Londoner, if ya know what I mean...

I feel sorry for people working on that low of a wage its wrong they should put up minimum wages to adleast 15 pounds an amount I earn 18 pounds an hour and I feel I'm at the bottom of the working class
@@poisongas6033 Not sure if troll but on 18£ an hour that's above average in the UK and easily enough to be relatively comfortable, let alone being bottom of the working class. Bottom of the working class is 50% less than that.
@@poisongas6033 you must understand basic economics first. If you would raise the minimum wage to 15 pounds that would mean about a 50% increase. The profit wont increase so they probably fire and replace people with machines so they still make a profit. Added problems is that YOU get 15 pounds minimum wage BUT so is everyone else. So your barber wil be added 50% cost, food cost will go higher, young people wont get any work since they are inexperienced so not worth 15 pounds etc. So a lot of people will be replaces since it would be cheaper to let machines do the work.
I know in the US about 1/3 of all the cost a restaurant/bar has is on staff. So if you raise staff cost by 50% that would mean staff will be almost half of the cost of running. So they either raise prices and cant compete with the competition or fire 50% of the staff and replace them with robots.
Long story short, if you want to raise the minimum wage by 50% you have to realise EVERYTHING you buy or hire will go up in price.
If anyone asks ‘what animal would you be?’ just turn around and walk out because it’ll be a horrific place to work

I still can’t tell if the music is part of the show or added in to avoid copyright. At times it’s fine, other times it drowns the narrator.

Candelisa is permanently closed. Company went bust in 2015 (think it was 2015) and Jane is now a company director for a company called Fortem People Limited.

Yeah, I hope they gave him a proper chance at Bombay stores and didn’t just ditch him once the cameras left. Some South Asian people often don’t treat Black people very fairly, and that is not right.
As a manager some of the questions they ask in the interviews are completely ridiculous and are a sign of a business living in the past...
They certainly are a 'motley' looking crew, but they are fun to watch!

I can’t remember the name of the Italian man but I love him! I would absolutely hire him and help him with his English, no problem. He seems genuine, hard working and reliable. I really want him to succeed.
A mate of mine dug up the old video when we were drinking. The editing made a lot of the people look really silly including myself but it could of been way worse. They kept requesting I sing for a for a few mins and I think I actually sung a whole peice from the magic flute but they did not put that in. I stayed in that job for just under a year I think.

It's all about bums in seats, they don't care who goes into what job. It's all about whether they can get away with it.

You just know the owner of Freshfiels would NEVER have asked that question about animals unless he was asked to by the documentary crew

Not the best. But, surprisingly, one of the best. Bradford Business School has won quite a lot of awards, and is often ranked very highly as a UK business school, and pretty highly internationally.

I just started watching this show in Buffalo New York and enjoying it. What a shame it went out of business of course being in the states I don't know the laws over there so maybe it's hard to run a business.
