How To Remove Broken RCA Pins Quickly

- Removing broken rca pin from my car audio amplifier.
Just heat a metal pin and insert it into the plastic part of the broken rca pin.
Remove it after it cools down.
I had written about this problem in my website in 2015.

I CANNOT believe this worked, thanks so much for this. I heated the paper clip until red hot with move stove actually. Then slowly pushed until it wouldn’t go farther. I then waited about 90 seconds and slowly pulled the entire broken pin out. This was brilliant thanks so much!

Worked like a champ brother even with a little super glue failed extraction. Thankfully it wasn't much glue! If you made the same dumb mistake as me use a baby pin and use a screw driver as a handle with it wrapped around the far side of the baby pin.

At first the hot needle wouldn't go into the pin. I put the needle in my drill, heated it up and screwed the rca pin out :)

Thank you, I used only right channel on my amp for months, since its all glued from the inside and i wasn't able to replace the socket. It never crossed my mind to try something like this, and now i don't have to buy a new one :D
