Thank you for recommendation of John Freida. I ordered it on Amazon. I have natural, 4C hair and use this product and I had no fly always nor frizz. It works to keep your hair smooth and frizz free. I used Avalon organic peppermint shampoo and conditioner, deep condition with a Dominican deep conditioner I’ve used for years, then deep conditioned with Silk Elements anti-breakage Hair mask. I applied the John Frieda before and after flat ironing my hair and used my Babyliss flat iron on 450 degrees.

Try cleaning your flat iron, if you haven't already. It could be old product on your flat iron causing that burn smell.
