I remember learning how to get a base down from a KCMO beginner tutorial back in the day. Pre-components. Roofless base. Don't use keylock. Build yourself in and out until you get a code lock. I'd farm up all the material to build a 2x1, stashing in a stash as I went to not lose it all. Throw the whole thing down in like 30 sec after having all the necessary materials for a 2x1, including a furnace. Game is so different now.

So i've been almost entirely solo. I tend to build a few very small bases and spread my loot between them, rather than have one large one. I consider "winning" as having most of my bases and loot remaining at the end of wipe. I like to start at Outpost and grind my way through the blueprints and build up resources. Also, I always keep an eye out for a decaying/abandoned base.. can't tell you how much time that saves you if you can just hermit crab into a base already built 8). Great laugh at your "karma" moment feet from your base... you had me and my wife lolling.
Geez Willjum, that video had more plot twist than an M. Night Shyamalan movie 😂 I love the videos and the edits got me dead 💀 thank you so much for what you do 🙏 you’re the reason I bought Rust and play now to this day.

Hey Willjum. I know your not on console but I just bought rust for console and I try to have friendly encounters, meaningful rust life. I'm on my 1st server ever and I met a lot of cool people. I've shown my base off to a few people who I trusted, and everyone knew the bear rug base I had going was definite homage to Willjum.. You're the reason I bought the game. And we'll you might be the reason I'm still playing.
Watching wiljum just casually anytime is a big no no Take some snacks..turn off the lights and watch it on a big screen ..ac on and blankets around the body--- this provides max vibes
I just have to say a big thank you for introducing me to this game (and I suppose the YT algorithm as well, minor actor in this play). Because of you I went out and found and xBox X just to play this game. I'm solo and just learning the game. I haven't PVP'd yet but just farm for now and learn how to build. Maybe I'll just have to upgrade to a more modern PC and play the PC version. Again, thank you for your videos.
"Noo, give me a break" = Willjum tilting hehe. Everyone else on here would be cursing up a storm and throwing a fit :P Good guy Willjum, great vid as always!
You have to be a strong minded and disciplined person to play this game . 900 hours in and it’s still horrible to find a team or play solo . This game is for the cracked gamers seriously . Imagine playing 3 hours to find a base location, build said base, go roam to progress in game , gets murdered every time you’re seen . Spawn back at base to find out a team is there to end your suffering of playing this game . Now imagine doing this every time you play it . Never ending cycle of wasting precious life honestly . Great video as always bruv !
I concur - there is no need to get fat stacked before going back to base. If you get something juicy, don't hesitate to take your small inventory home to "save game".
Man, I just found out your channel and I'm absolutely loving your content! it's just too cool to watch. The sound track you choose, the way you behave with the other players and the idea of being a builder instead of a pvp chad sounds just great for me that makes me want to watch every video you have! congrats, man! keep on going that way and I'm sure you'll get a ton of viewers for sure! you always ask for suggestions, so here's mine. If possible, I'd tell you to build a base that's not only useful, but also confortable. A base in which you feel like home, with rooms, fireplace and furniture all around. not mentioning the rugs I noticed you just love hahaha. Would that be a good idea? thank you again for your videos! wish you the best
Great solo gameplay. I'm a solo rust player, but out of practice and haven't been playing for a while. You almost motivate me to give it another go, but you're also way better than me. You're much faster which is the biggest thing, and your aim is more on point than mine.

@@darkopz @Andrew Finnell what are you talking about? do you even play rust? the sword is on a different path, he literally could learn the metal hatchet straight next, why would he need a research table for that? Coolmoedee is completely right
Same here, he kept saying he wanted to find one but it's literally top of tech tree 50 scrap, it would of saved him so much time if he just learnt it from work bench lol
@@yuzi87 well i mean it would be 125 scrap since you would still need to learn the salvaged hammer
⬆️I really appreciate your comment, don’t forget to hit the bell 🛎 and send me a dm ⬆️⬆️ privately to claim a price🎁 ⬆️⬆️⬆️
No need to thank people for support. You just make good well thought "movies". Clear to see you did put some work into it but didnt over do it. Most people come here for their own amusement :D You r just a step above competition, your vids seem as aprofessional as they schould be and you r one of the best in creating almost "a movie like experience".
Love your vids i have a lot of fun served in a professional way. keep up the good work
Your videos are the reason I keep coming back to rust. You make it such and enjoyable experience to watch, it makes me just want to play and build.
Anyone else Audio cuts out at 28:50\

Frick you man 😂😂
@@faxzez 😭
No
I can't believe he chose to fight 31 minutes in. I would have grabbed that and ran for my life back to the base
I love the calmness my man. It's super hard to do sometimes, but it really does make playing the game so much better if you just stay calm and enjoy.
I don't think I can't put to words how diferent your content is. But if there was ever a word to be used, it would be cozy! Love your work, humor e style my friend.
Honestly these videos make me want to play rust even if I’ve had the worst day these videos just make me happy again thank you Willjum
Geez Willjum, that video had more plot twist than an M. Night Shyamalan movie 😂 I love the videos and the edits got me dead 💀 thank you so much for what you do 🙏 you’re the reason I bought Rust and play now to this day.
I don't know if you have it but the Hobo Barrel Functions as a jump up as well. Crouch+Jump and release the crouch in the air lets you jump to the next level.
This man has the best mental in all of rust I love watching him more than pvp chads bc of the Lofi beats and it’s just shows the average experience for a rust player
Watching wiljum just casually anytime is a big no no
Take some snacks..turn off the lights and watch it on a big screen ..ac on and blankets around the body--- this provides max vibes
14:07 was the GREATEST dodge I have EVER seen!
Watching this while smelting frags!
The Minecraft music had me dead 😂 43:30
I just have to say a big thank you for introducing me to this game (and I suppose the YT algorithm as well, minor actor in this play). Because of you I went out and found and xBox X just to play this game. I'm solo and just learning the game. I haven't PVP'd yet but just farm for now and learn how to build. Maybe I'll just have to upgrade to a more modern PC and play the PC version. Again, thank you for your videos.
43:00 love that part with the minecraft song
I got way better at soloing bro thx so much I couldn’t even get a base down now I can lol😂❤❤❤
“Look at that sunset. It’s beautiful man.”
The epitome of every wiljum video ever.
"Noo, give me a break" = Willjum tilting hehe. Everyone else on here would be cursing up a storm and throwing a fit :P Good guy Willjum, great vid as always!
Now this is why I love Will so much he keeps a cool head and thinks of the best outcome for ever situation
Yapping yapper
Great solo gameplay. I'm a solo rust player, but out of practice and haven't been playing for a while. You almost motivate me to give it another go, but you're also way better than me. You're much faster which is the biggest thing, and your aim is more on point than mine.
Willjum, i cant even play rust due to the extreme finger dexterity it takes, but ilove your videos so much. the editing, the story, the music, all amazing. Keep up the great work.
