I was watching your Stonehenge video!!!
I love your vids cris!!
3:27 did he just alphabetize the sports?? This man is dedicated!
This comment made me noticed, and 100% dedicated lol
It's called sorting not alphabetising. (tsk tsk)
I mean we're all bored in quarantine so a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do
Mad lad
i got it frist to
The golden dinosaur (Hylaeosaurus) was at 6:46, 6:47, 6:48 and 6:49, thank you for this opportunity, these are by far some of my favourite coins ever.
Cool I noticed that too 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hmm…. (Edited)?
Yes
I saw them too
I’m a coin collector, can you still find them?
0:13 is the golden heliosaurus
Lol
thats true tho
Your profile says it all 😆
True true ok
i hope you win
I remember how I took my mum's 2 50p coins, and they had a PETER RABBIT AND SHERLOK HOLMES. I felt so bad when she said she "lost" them.
._.
Dahm bro
i can describe this series in one sentence:
How incredibly cool is that?!
Xd
Thats pretty cool child 👌
Haha 😂
6:47 he is near the books
Noo just nooo ahhhh I crazy :)
I love how you present this wonderful hobby! It's a good introduction. I personally only collect coins made out of Precious Metals now, but it started with me checking through my Quarters.
i have a silver Alaska quarter
This video and other videos like this on your channel literally just inspired me to start coin and banknote collecting. So thanks for making these vids and I am also such a big fan.
6:47 is the golden Dino! Such an interesting video and can’t wait for the next vid!
Its 646
Franklin D Roosevelt•75 years ago once again it’s not
GG
Bravo
The American 50 States quarters got me into coin collecting!
Cool
I have all of them, I love coin collecting!
One of the joys of working in the catering / bar trade, people try to scam the staff with, amongst others, the quarter Dollar.
Whilst cashing up, I would take out any foreign / collectable / 'out of place' coins ( dime / quarter Dollar / Polish Zloty / Yuan / even Jersey & Guernsey coins ) and replace them with a coin that 'should' be there ( 10p / 50p / etc ).
Same as me
@@eddie-g-6452 I worked as a cashier and did something similiar. In addition to starting my 2€ collection and sets of Euro coins from different countries I also(often intentionally) accepted and picked any foreign coins(mostly some eastern european coins and a couple of pounds/pennies) and kept them even if I was at small loss. I've done it for only a year before the pandemics stopped me, but I think I found a hobby for lifetime. I started thinking about traveling more after all of this is over in part because I want to bring some coins with me :D And if I ever visit UK, after seeing this video I'll be definitely paying cash when I can and checking the change. They have some nice and collectable coins there.
I'm from Indonesia and when I discovered all of the secrets in it's money from your video, I was amazed, but after watching this video, British coins are amazing, full of easter eggs.
Peru also started a few years ago with a special 1 sol coin collection that depicts the fauna (only animals so far) and a few less known landmarks in the country.
6:47 he is studying!!!
(Golden dino)
My guy you can edit your comment if you want
Wren studios but then chris would know if he edited the time after
Great video as usual! I know I’m just playing catch-up since you have so many out there but the content is amazing
Story-time!
I once went shopping with some relatives for most of the day. I was paying for my stuff, and realised I had a swimmer collector coin!
So yeah, that was a lucky find
Anyone enjoy watching Half-Asleep Chris’s videos?
Alfons Rasmus it’s commentbait
ME
If nobody enjoyed his videos he wouldn't have subscribes you doil
R u joking duh
Wy would we be here
I love the knowledge you pass on, the uk coins always surprise me with editions that I didn't know existed, and some that I remember seeing from the past in my change. I'm 55 and can remember the older 50p coins with the hands linking together, they were pretty common back in their day but I took them for granted as they passed in out out of my hands. You make me wish I'd collected them now.
0:01 the top hat!
This really helped me boost my coin collecting knowledge. Thanks!
The golden hyleosaurus can be found at 6:47
He just said something ramdom and then added the real timestap
0:21 OMGGG I'm so happy to see indonesian rupiah here🥺🥺🥺
??? i mean he did say alot of coins

I really like your videos because you got completely different and fascinating way to describe things in numismatic world....... I also collect bank notes and coins but I didn't payed much attention to details on them........ You're doing an incredible job........ Greetings from Pakistan 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰
this makes life look even more like a video game special events with limited time currencies
The it thing I've learned is the UK has way better coin designs than the US.
Even Australia
We have way better everything than USA lol
Simming FTW are you British?
No Japan has better everything
No Japan has better everything
6:47 he's picking which book to read! I honestly used to think that coin collecting was boring, but you've shown me that coins are really cool and have lots of cool secrets! Hope that you notice this, I've been watching your videos for a while now, I really like them, especially the cat ones.
Yeah. Same
6:47 Half-asleep Chris is so entertaining you can't say no.
0:11 THERES THE GOLDEN DINO!!

6:47 the dino appeared! Love your videos, they're so soothing and I needed comfort so much lately (really stressful exams, we all have been there)
Finally the Mexican Peso gets some love in this channel 😍🤩😍🤩😍
I asked my son who went in UK recently to bring me a coin: he discussed with his coleagues about this but all, including him, were using cards.
Coins become shortage of sourcing alas.
Good video as usual for a rookie to start a collection: eventually passions are the fuel of our lives 👍
Thoroughly enjoyed your video. Thank you.
The dinosaur was at 6:48 💚
Love ur vids Chris!! I hope I win!!
I like a cut G
I like you cut g
6:47 There he is on the right!
I live in Canada and just recently started collecting coins and I’d say being a cashier really helps when it comes to finding coins lol
Hey there.... Even I collect bank notes and coins... Maybe I can help you get the Indian bank notes and coins... You can help me with the Canadian ones in return 👍
@@ArtistDadapeer haha we meet again
@Half-Asleep Chris you’ve started me off now I tried to collect them and now see them every time I open the till at work. The same with bank notes. We keep getting the Scottish notes that I didn’t know we could take. You got me looking for all coins and notes now lol. I even mentioned your channel to a few customers. Now their hooked and started collecting. Lol one lady we have to save the good weird 50ps up for and apparently there’s strange 10ps and 5ps. How I hate 5ps!! They’re far too small.
6:47 Also, I love your videos, and you have inspired me start collecting the American 50 states. I hope I can find them all!
You better don’t
6:47 There is the Golden Dinosaur Its Displayed In The Books.
Acer Killer same
I mean how would you miss that
Ik
there is also a honety badger
@@ipadair7345 No it's a tapir.
I bought a lot of 20 coins off of ebay and one of the coins that I received was the British piece with hands. It's in beautiful shape and I am glad that I know the story behind it.
Gg on 400k man
6:47 is where you can find the Hylaeosaurus with some the story books, Chris has.
nice job!
You, I like you
,Chris has. What? Chris has what?
@@650Massive his story books
6:47 he’s by the books. I see that Dino wants to be a librarian!
It blends in so well
6:47 if I don't win I'll still be happy because you have inspired me to cone collecting
@@Heera_rx dude, wrong comment. Lol
This did inspire me to collect coins, I’ve collected a 1 piso, 5 piso, 10 piso, 20 piso and two 25 pisos all from my home country :D I had so many coins but I just kept 1 of each.
My friend just dug up a 2013 South Dakota Mount Rushmore coin and im glad its part of a set
6:47 is where the golden dinosaur is!
Your first
When you realise he HAS the coins:

this comment is underrated
Not all of them
@@drunkginger0077 ya I know
He collects them....
@@KingJake-om7yq exactly-
I didn’t realise until 9:05 that he actually had all of these coins. I thought they were just really good photos.
Super video ... thanks Chris
Omg he uploaded!
Uhhh yeah no time to freak outp
Yeah he does that
Okay
I think my favourite coin-related fact is that the two pound coin has 19 cogs in a circle on it. Given that if one cog rotates one way, one touching it will have to rotate the other way, any loop of an odd number of cogs would not rotate because two cogs next to each other would end up trying to rotate the same way and jam the system.
The strange thing is, the man who designed the coin designed it the right way, with 22 cogs, but then the Royal Mint removed three of them. I’m not sure why.
could be because the cogs are meant represent the industrial revolution/era which really took off in and defined the 19th century?
No, I meant the three being removed.
I am also a collector of coins and notes . I too have the 1/4 dollar coin set with me only some
your collection is super cool
i'm american and i never knew about the monuments quarters lol. i do know the designs get updated sometimes; i remember people were allowed to vote for one of a few options for a new oklahoma design (i believe around 2007, when the centennial was happening)
edit: correction - the designs don't get updated; what i was remembering was the minting of the last batch of the group
i saw the dino
Thank you SO much for putting so much work and detail into your intricate videos.
Even if you're dealing with a topic I would never search for, I end up enjoying then and learning something new!
The lovely stop motion only adds to it. Your content truly has the feel of children's science shows, in the best possible way. They give me a nostalgic feeling! Thank you so much and please keep up the fantastic work ❤
I just started the coin collecting this year
I started 10 years ago.
I have not but I watch coin videos excessively
Where are you from Brother.... Even iam into collections.... I collect bank notes and coins
6:47 I know he’s prolly already given me all away by now but was still fun to find the Dino love you videos and your cats
i have watched your videos for a while now and a couple days ago i wanted to start coin collecting.i watched this video and went to change checker but unfortunately it only had english coins when i live in Australia . so far i have a few coins from luck but i was wondering if you know any Australian coin apps. love your videos!
Love your vids! They are so sick
Ummm sick with what
Good joke stack on titan I actually laughed at it ha ha ha
6:48 golden dino.
Please make more cat videos too!
Tom is not with Chris anymore 😔☹️
Only Ralph is with Chris 😧😦
I would like to know if during the years 1999-2002 the Bank of England had ever done a designing of british € coins, in case of the UK hypothetically adopting the Euro ... (most likely with QE2 on the national side) or if some secret test minting are stored in the BoE's vaults ?
This went from coin collecting to rapping!😂😆lol
To be honest I personally dont like the giveaways because this channel is already great!
True mate
I started my coin collection with the american state quarters after randomly receiving one as change on my trip to America. I currently have 47 of them! which ones are you missing?
This video made me notice and understand a lot of my British coins I got from old family collections and change on trips to Britain, such as the Olympic soccer 50p, 2 Peter Rabbit coins, and the EU joining 50p.
P.S the dinosaur is at 6:46
I'm gonna start a coin collecting hobby!
6:47 is the time I love your videos
I collected every coin in the set when I was 7! It really brings back memories, I have the book on the left at 5:18!
cool!
6:47 the gold Dino!!, my brother found it first though :/
Ur late :)
How cool it is to have an official coin currency for James Bond
omg those paddington coins are so detailed
6:48 only just realised rewatching it. i have wanted to start collecting for a while so this will be a great way to start!
Omg I have waited ages for this and it definitely lives up to my expectations!! Please never stop uploading videos on coins!!
Whoa...😮...Pretty sweet coinage...👌🏼💯✔
It’s the square and triangle coins that got me
When I was little the checz coins which are decagons or something confused me
6:47 golden dino love the vid can't wait for the next one
6:47 Is the Time stamp where golden Dino was killed by the meteor
True
This sounds like a plot twist in a book like 39 clues.
I collect wheatstraw pennies in the US. I only collect from circulation so as the years pass I find fewer and fewer. I maybe find one or two a year now. It's a amazing feeling to come across a steel 44 that hasnt been taken out of circulation yet.
The gold Dino ca be seen wandering the vast desktop near the books, he tends to do this at around 6:46-6:47.
rather6:47-6:49
@@bobwhitehouse Yes
I will win the coin not you
It’s at 13 seconds in when your spraying it
Hahahahahahahahahaha.
Mariam Shehab ok thanks I guess?
Are you joking and being sarcastic or serious?
Arizona NEEDS TO DO THE A TO Z COIN CHALLENGE!
one of the only commemorative british coins I have during the short time Iived there is the 2005 dictionary 50p coin, one of the coolest I've seen.
as for the american state coins, I still hold them as my definite favorite series, and grew incredibly tired of the national park coins by 2015
wish I could go back to collect just a few more coins!
Me: in the u.s
Chris: The u.s quarters are highly sought after
Me: umm.... I think I got a couple of those
Btw I am not sure though bc I am not a coing collector just likes his vids
I have 50, but not all the states!
6:47 there's the gold dinosaur (I couldn't be bothered to write the full thing) but I'm 4 weeks late
I currently have a peter rabbit 50p coin, the London to Rio handover coin and a coin you didn't mention, which is the 50p coin that has the defenitions of fifty and pence on it, although it might have been released after this video was posted.
6:47 right by the books! But i don’t Live in England so i can’t get the coin :(
or Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland.
same :(
I DO :)
6:47 Is where the dino is! He's with all the books! He's kinda cute!
The Churchill crown got me started in 1965. The days of real coins. 15th February 1971 was the day we lost real coin hunting. I like most decimal coins but I hate all the “ESSO “coins minted now. 😜 The Queen’s Beasts are a great set to collect.
We have A LOT of coins that my parents collected over the years, it's nice for someone to showcase a video about coins for coin collectors :3
yes!!
6:47 the Haeleosaurus is amongst the books.
Yep
I know like the US as well, Canada has a metric tonne of collectors 25 cent pieces too. Also to a lesser degree also some 1 (Loonie) and 2 (Toonie) coins. We sometimes colour them too...
Starting collecting! I'm 5/6 through the shield, and I just need the 50p. Somehow I can't find the 2nd most common 50p in a tin with alot of coins in
6:47 is the time when the gold Dino thing was. It was next to the books! Good luck to everyone!
Hi it’s me
How in the world did u find my comment?
Hi btw

“And my personal favourite, Tom kitten.”
At 0:18 he shows what looks like a Anthony Dollar, but the edges are circular. Any idea if this if a mint error or something else?
