Charter Oak SA-538 B Microphone on Drums

When I was searching for a good quality tube mic that didn't cost a pound a of flesh, someone in the industry suggested I try this one. (see other gear i use at www.boriafolabigear.com) After hearing what they had done with it, I took the chance and made the investment. I have no regrets as I am continuously pleased with it's performance. Further, It is built like a tank with quality parts, and it quite aesthetically pleasing. Thanks. I can't really give you any advice about what gear to purchase but I will say take your time and consider wether your gear desires are wants or needs that will enhance the productivity in your craft. Gear is just gear. I have some nice stuff and some cheap stuff but keep the focus on making the best you can with whatever you have and don't get sucked into the gear spiral.
