I am surprised how you liked the onscreen GUI. It is so cluttered that they threw everything on one screen and say new menu. Not good at all. If you have not noticed, favourites button is removed from the remote. The live tv favourites is now buried deep inside the menu. Either you have remember the channel number or dive deep inside the menu and access favourites. The remote shape is also huge and ugly instead of sleek. The set top box is also not without bugs. Travel XP 4K channel stutters and buffers like hell. Crashes some times. Menu response is some times slow.
Does it work under different weather conditions windy cloudy or rainy since we had 3 connection in the past we replace one because of monkey jumping on the flying soccer so every time maintainnce charges . Actually we have 4 connection requirement now.may be 2 3 more in the neighborhood so what is discount offer going on on this box? i have it. live tv works without net.. it'll work through internet if your dish is blocked by clouds. so technically if you unplug it from the dish it'll work, i haven't yet kept it unplugged for prolonged periods of time though. plans are same for live tv. BUT the box is sluggish & has terrible UI.. live tv is just an app that works on top of android tv, so even the live tv interface is sluggish at times.. it's not worth it in my opinion. better to stick with the old HD set top box & buy something like a firetv stick for streaming needs.
I liked your video with minute detailing. It is useful for non-smartTV. But when you have an smart Tv with Smart remote(voice assistant) then their is practically no need of any Set-top box. All we need is OTT app yearly subscriptions with active wifi(internet).

UA-cam is free. although i don't know what would happen if you don't recharge live tv subscription (in my household we always recharge early). casting videos to tv from UA-cam app on phone works fine. don't worry about 4k, works fine on an hd tv.. most live channels are not even full HD let alone 4k 😂 not the box's fault. But the box is very slow.
I use the same box with Samsung Frame Tv. Although my internet speed is 80 mbps still while playing HD OTT contents from Tata play binge box, the video isn’t smooth, seems like the frame drops are persistent. How can I eliminate this problem? (When I’m playing videos from OTT app of my TV, it plays smoothly.)
