The PERFECT song to listen to when you drive a classic muscle car in a highway at nighttime! I finally found the full song! It is so epic in the movie. Ghost Rider is an awesome anti-hero.
I remember when this film came out, I was 6 years old at the time, I saw at a DVD copy at a Blockbuster video back when both were still a thing & my parents wouldn’t let me watch it thinking it was inappropriate which I now understand where they were coming from being an adult now but finally they said ok & my mother really liked it too when she saw it realizing it’s not actually a horror story necessarily but really a love story. In my opinion, it’s one of the most underrated superhero movies ever. It‘s faithful to the comic character in terms of his origin story while also exploring deeper questions like how far would you go to save the ones you love but also has prevalent themes of redemption as well as constant allusions to Catholicism/Orthodoxy. Nicholas Cage also gives a very great layered performance with different dimensions to the character. Overall, fantastic film, can’t say enough good about it.

Thanks for standing up for me Seth, I'm sure Ghost Rider would be proud, or as he would put it: " You...innocent 👍", but I think Colin knows what I mean. I don't think it has anything to do with this being a remake by someone other than Johnny Cash, a lot of artists have been able to release cuts/remakes that they have made of other artist's songs as singles on their own albums without legal problems, and yes, sometimes on movie soundtrack albums. I think Robert Vivian's theory is the closest to fact, Spiderbait doesn't own the rights to the song, they most likely borrowed it with Sony's help in order to make their version and for it to appear in the movie, but that was as far as their legal boundaries would allow, they couldn't get clearance to release it on the soundtrack album so that we can own copies of it. It may have been within the law but still feels like a Penance Stare worthy sin. Lol!
