I do the 2ticking for 4man croesus runs in hunter. If you want to really get sweaty I find that I can put a metronome at 100bpm really quietly in the background and go every 2 metronome ticks. Eventually your brain drowns out the sound of the metronome if you have it quiet enough, but still reacts to it.
After hearing how bad the Bik WC/Fish/Mining xp rates were, I didn't even think to try anything with the hunter spot. Assuming this hasn't been altered in the past year, I'm really looking forward to grinding this out on DXP. Might just get two 120s out of the way!
Not sure Jagex's stance on weights is, but I've been weighting down my 2 and 3 keys and then used Autohotkey to rebind right click to 1 (1 to 1 rebinds are completely legal I know some less knowledgeable players freak out when AHK is mentioned) Just press left and right click at the same time or alternate with the standard timing as that's probably easier. 0 need for porters as holding down drop keys forces you to drop them tick perfectly and once you get a handle for 2 ticking down it can be done while not looking at the screen, then I just afk fish once my hand starts to get tired to avoid RSI.
Also recommend learning 2 tick hall of memories as it's definitely the most chill place to learn the timing for 2 ticking and obviously if this is against game rules someone feel free to let me know.
hey~ just small info, but you can actually beat this xp ph with croco hunting. ( fastest before nerfs was croesus main hunter corpse and resetting, secondary fastest was hets oasis) after nerfs to croesus hets oasis is actually fastest.
I just tried it and I found it easier to press cape bind button after clicking on the corps. And click the corps at the same time you see an xp drop. it won't be as perfect. But it does like 75% of the time.
yea it can be tricky to get used to, after a few times of doing this i started getting an internal clock for it almost and could literally do it while watching tv shows or youtube vids on the side with decent accuracy still
i did just test it and i did only hit buttom for cape keybind when i saw the xp and did work too, had sign and porter too so was kinda chill :) thanks :D
I really believed until today that brawling gloves where only able to be used in the wilderness... I don't know when this changed but that's insane game knowledge i wish id known years ago
they could always be used everywhere. the thing is, they used to be SUPER op in the wildy as they became even better the deeper you went in the wildy. When they made the wildy a non-pvp area, they removed the wildy boost to them, and so now they are the same boost everywhere. Therefore its no longer as vital to use them in the wildy.
This method can also be done during dxpw without worrying about crowding right? So with the pulse cores, cinder cores, bxp, all the xp boosts, brawler gloves, ect. in double xp this prbly nets close to 10m xp/h? a possible 99-120 in a day
Had hunter brawling gloves laying around, about 700 charges, used them at fort forinthry on hunter dummies with knowledge bombs, pulse cores, bonus xp, premier, desert aura, incense sticks was around 10m xp per hour
I tend to only show methods that also work for irons and exclude treasure hunter. Otherwise every optimal xp guide sadly boils down to buying keys on the best promotions
@@IronAraxxor Yeah thats correct, also wrote my comment to people who might not spend money on keys but maybe saved them, because there is alot of people with alot of dummies and proteans just from saving them up for years, because i also had them just laying around doing nothing and i didn't even know i was gonna get that much xp out of those dummies
@@haktone44 i'm having a similar issue. it still works in the sense of getting good exp, but i cant get my animation to restart. i get like 1.3m hr base exp with no urns, but it's not as easy to see it working as in the vid
@@rsqdi1935 if you use porters it wont animation cancel, as the cancel is caused by dropping the items, but the method still works, it just looks different

That's a pretty sweaty method. I suppose even in you are halfway efficient it's still over 1m xp per hour before buffs.

Scarabs at hets oasis isn't all that much slower than this. Iirc I was getting about 1.1m/hr there without any xp boosts at all.
