Rach and Chandler are rarely paired on the screen but when they do, it's either sweet or hilarious. You're gonna see more rare occasion of them teaming up.

Episode 22 "The One With the Two Parties" is one of the best Friends episodes. It never fails to make me laugh out loud! And Congrats on the new place 🙂
It's amazing how much of Perry's real life is built into the character of Chandler. His book is so painful to read. But one thing for certain; he made 5 great friends during this show and he made millions of people laugh around the world.
As a Mexican, I can tell you flan is very delicious and we usually eat it for birthdays too but we also have a cake not just the flan 😂
I forgot how good this show is until I started watching Nick react to it and then when you started it. Now I’m watching both of you react to it and it’s twice the Friends😊

Giovanni Ribisi who plays Frank previously appeared in S2E6 "The One With The Baby On The Bus" as a guy who accidentally dropped a condom in Phoebe's guitar case. It's never been confirmed if he was supposed to be the same character and they just didn't remember each other or if he was a completely different character entirely.
Matthew Perry and Jennifer Aniston were actually really close and in his memoir he said she had reached out the most during his darkest times. I feel like that's why they had such great chemistry and Rachel & Chandler's friendship is one of the most underrated friendships in the series in my opinion.

I enjoyed this so much.... it feels weird that Matthew Perry has passed away . The other cast members of FRIENDS gave a short , to the point , and thoughtful "good bye" about Matthew in their message to the press . The "bully" scene was hilarious ....there is not any memories in my life that two grown men started picking on strangers before . Actually both of these episodes are incredibly funny and sensitive . I appreciate these episodes so much.... my parents were both still alive when FRIENDS was on T.V. . I lost them when I was pretty young but my siblings are still Thankfully here . Thank you for your channel

This is one spoiler I had to hold, Phoebe's half brother was on an earlier episode of Friends, he ran around the corner of the coffee hose and she was out side with Rachel and grabbed something out of Phoebe's guitar case. It was never confirmed whether the character was her brother at the time of the cameo.
I know Friends has gotten criticisms that some jokes didn't age too well. As a 90s baby, Friends was the first live action media that taught me that guys and girls can be friends without it necessarily being a seed for romance. They can hug, hold hands, sit together in a couch, comfort each other...out of pure friendship.
Rest in piece Matthew Perry. You are quite literally the funniest person I ever had the pleasure of watching and his performance in friends is what imo elevates the show to a whole new level. All of the friends are great and perfectly cast but Perry was special. Perry specifically himself was a comedian and while the rest are great in comedic roles they’re nowhere near as legendary.
Frank Jr is weird af but seriously one of the best side characters 😂
The only thing i dislike about that last episode is the Flan slander. Flan is a delicious dessert. If you get a chance to try it i hope you do.

Episodes with the parents are always fun, even if it's the sort of disfunction where a pending divorce drives the comedy... And when Joey kissed Mom she swooned perfectly - it's probably been a long time since she was kissed like that! 😉

The second episode is basically Friends doing a French Farce. The constant opening and closing of doors is a farce troupe, the element of a character hiding from another character with the help of many, slapstick and rampent running, ducking, dodging and at least one moment where it all culminates into the two least likely characters that also happens to be crucially organic to the plot are forced to kiss under extreme circumstances. Friends have hit a stride now at this point in their run and its amazing at how high a quality level the show has reached this early into the series and crazier still the heights it has yet to continue reaching, ascending and ascending for seasons to come. We're in a insane stretch of what is this television zenith where the writing, direction and caliber of acting is a perfect storm balance of art and commerse fusing hand in hand as one putting Friends in the rarified air of creating instant classic week after week for years in an unbroken chain of time capule memorabke episodes with zero duds.

I'm not trying to take away from how you feel over the loss of Matthew Perry. However, imagine loving this show for 30 years. Having it be your comfort show that makes you feel better when you're depressed. Then imagine Chandler is your favorite character because he's the one you relate to the most and the one that makes you laugh the most. The passing of Matthew Perry has devastated me. I don't care if he was a celebrity I never met. I've watched this show so many times that the characters feel like my friends. This one hurts.

Always makes me laugh when you can see the actors break character and laugh for real. You always know when Jennifer Aniston does it because she covers her mouth with her hand (Matt LeBlanc said that in an interview)
The first Friends episode I saw after I heard the news about Matthew... in the episode he did a really funny joke, I laughed, and then all of a sudden I started to cry. It just hit me hard in that moment. I was appreciating his comic brilliance and mourning the loss of it at the same time. So I understand you bringing him up throughout the episode. It makes total sense.
P.S. I like that moment between Chandler and Rachel as well, especially how he seamlessly passes her to Ross. Really sweet.

I am having so much fun watching these shows with you. I have seen them so many times I could practically recite them but it is like watching them for the first time seeing them through your eyes. I am so sad about Mathew Perry. It is like losing a family member becouse for 10 seasons these actors were in our homes.
The UK has a similar show called Coupling that I think you would like. Also, consider watching Firefly. It was only on for one season and only fourteen episodes as well as a movie called Serenity. It has a huge cult following. Fans are still showing up, after 20 years, to see the actors reunite at events like Comic-Con.
I cant deal that matty is gone. The first thing i saw the day he passes it i turned on my phone and opened tiktok and it was the first thing then i had too act okay during the day and i adore him so it really hurt me. In s3 you will see the cocaine/ vicodin use written on his face and his weight. As well rachel dose not have ot as hard as it looks in this as js say phoebe chandler or even monica. Anyways rest in peace matty ml🕊️🕊️ edit: as well the reason chandler when in w a joke is cuz as yk he struggled much more then rach did with it and its how he can start a conversation comfortably if yk what i mean. But yeah tow two parties is personally one of my fav in s2, its so chaotic and as you said funny at the same time.
Season 2 is GOATED, is probably my top 5 fav seasons in the show, s5, s2, s4, s10, s7/8/6 are probably my fav seasons FOR SURE...

Oh snap I forgot Peter DeLuise is in this one. (the blonde Bully.21Jump Street) and I totally get missing Perry. I been a huge fan of his for over 20 tears and even have one of his first audiobooks on cassette tape. he will always be missed.... so Matt and Jenn were really good fiends and Matt also had a longing crush on Jenn. but they were more friends than anything else. they always were close. From what Perry said in his book.RIP kid.

Oscar, my man....instant coffee is SO BAD. You definitely need to get a perculator of some kind, and some coffee grounds for it, and make pots of coffee that way. It is a one time cost for the coffee maker/perculator, and then just a container of grounds every now, and then. You should get a post office box so people can send you stuff....so kewl to have one listed as "The Cocoa Couch guy" etc.....What city in Australia are you in anyway?

Fun fact Phoebe has actually met her half brother Frank jr once before he was the random guy who when Phoebe was playing her guitar out side Central Perk he threw a condom in her guitar case instead of money then ran back to get it.
I've always skipped the bully episode because I hated the sight of seeing my beloved TV bros getting bullied and not able to jump through the television and curb stomp those clowns. Usually suspension of disbelief takes care of this problem because ahem these are fictional characters in a made up situation cough cough. But, somehow I can't transcend and it's too painful to watch. So, I think it's literally the only Friends episode I've ever intentionally missed and hadn't seen till now. The funny thing is for years I always watched reruns and never knew when exactly Phoebe's biological brother was introduced and it was a big gap in my Friends knowledge. Now I know the episode! This is great. The actor playing him is Giovanni Ribisi. He came up in the 90's and never used to care for him. He always bugged me. Until this role and then have loved him ever since. He's genius as Phoebe's purely Freudian psychoanalytic id. He operates on complete impulse power. No filter. And bizarre default setting that is his center of normal. They very much come from the same DNA. Both see the world through their unique off kilter askew points of view which are also Bizarro different from the other too. Also, the YMCA tag scene at the end of the episode is so iconic yet it's never shown in any Friends greatest moments compilation videos ever so that was a new discovery for me too. Thank you for the vid. I didn't think I had any new Friends uncharted territories left to discover.

Chandler and Rachel relationship is so underrated.. they should’ve explore more. Especially because they have some similar family background like that. I really cherished their friendship moments. I feel like Chandler is a brother that Rachel never had.
