I could see this version playing out on speakers of city buildings, desolate, as what used to be such a crowded and bustling space, has died out in the apocalypse. All that resides are the few weeds that have grown into long vines sprouting from cracks in the pavement. The music echoes across the city as if giving a final farewell to its now-gone creators. Normally, it is nice to be in quiet. But this emptiness, this void... it is louder than anything. The souls of the damned watch on as this world that they had come to know is officially gone. There will be no return of mankind. No matter how much we hope the lives we live would have their own movie-like, happy endings, the world moves on, ignorant of our hopes. The loudspeakers damp the song as if they feel the pain of our world coming to shreds. As the clouds move away, we see that even though such a catastrophe, even with streets torn with broken vehicles and what used to be large flames, the sun still comes up in the morning. Mother earth does not shed a drop of tear for us, just moves on, as everything does. The warmth of the sun, such a beautiful sensation, now with nothing to experience its joy. The cool chill of the wind, as it blows on. Almost like a memento to our time we had on the earth, a strong gust of wind catches clothing in its embrace, jackets, pants and shirts alike, as they, the last remnants of what we used to look like, fly off into the atmosphere, leaving nothing behind but an empty city, as the speakers come to the end of their song, and as the day dawns, the last day we ever had on this miserable, tough, scarred, beautiful world. So long...
We ain’t goin nowhere. Humans are as resilient as cockroaches, we can survive anything short of the sun hitting Earth. Even a full scale nuclear war won’t kill us, and the we will rise out of the ashes of a by gone generation into the new world.
Wow I have been listening to this while playing stalker and I spared another stalker life and he betrayed me and then I closed the game and continued listening
And now, the end is near And so I face the final curtain My friend, I'll say it clear I'll state my case, of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I traveled each and every highway And more, much more than this I did it my way … Regrets, I've had a few But then again, too few to mention I did what I had to do And saw it through without exemption I planned each charted course Each careful step along the byway And more, much more than this I did it my way … Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew When I bit off more than I could chew But through it all, when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all, and I stood tall And did it my way … I've loved, I've laughed and cried I've had my fill, my share of losing And now, as tears subside I find it all so amusing To think I did all that And may I say, not in a shy way Oh, no, oh, no, not me I did it my way … For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught To say the things he truly feels And not the words of one who kneels The record shows I took the blows And did it my way … Yes, it was my way

Bro just wrote an entire novel describing fallout without describing it
When you get radiation from digging trenches at Chernobyl, despair
Honestly this is the feeling of beating Arkham Knight 240%
You fucking mad man
Wow I have been listening to this while playing stalker and I spared another stalker life and he betrayed me and then I closed the game and continued listening
ive been searching for this
when you touch the ground and bad critics and you did it all in your way..
And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way
… Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way
… Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all, and I stood tall
And did it my way
… I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside
I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way
Oh, no, oh, no, not me
I did it my way
… For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows
And did it my way
… Yes, it was my way
Somehow still triumphant
4:21 For what is a man, What has he got 😔
playing in background during a john wick fight scene. sped up just slightly
listening to this at 3 am makes me thing the world is about to end
what you'd play when climbing to the top of a bridge before you jump off into the abyss
Aye bro are you okay?
When you touch grass but your life keeps sucking
Gfff perfect 70s beast horror, game or fallout game
why would anyone make this a doomerwave, this song is the exact opposite of the doomer mindset
Yet. It fits perfectly.
It's about acceptance of the doomer lifestyle. Truly a beautiful thing
Listening to something you cannot achieve
Guys this is not supposed to be a sad song
And yet it doesn’t feel like things are going my way :(
