- After Skylark spent nearly 6 months in the Seychelles, we spend our final days enjoying the island paradise with Paula and Roy. We hike to a beautiful viewpoint, swim in crystal clear water and reflect on our time in the Seychelles. We said a difficult goodbye to Paula and Roy, and then went to the Eden Island Marina to prep Skylark for the Ocean Crossing to Mayotte. Many memories and life changes. Thank you Seychelles!
Real Time Update!!! - We have been very much off the grid for almost a month now, slowly making our way down the Mozambique Channel towards South Africa. We have had an absolutely magical time stopping in remote parts of Madagascar and now in Bazaruto, Mozambique(somehow got internet to upload this video). We had hoped to make a direct run from Madagascar to South Africa but the weather dictated otherwise and I am happy it did because Mozambique has been incredible. We cannot wait to share the footage. Tomorrow the weather shifts in our favor and we are planning to depart at sunrise for Richards Bay, South Africa. The passage is 500 nautical miles, we expect only 3 days with the strong currents to carry us south. You can track us here...

We just lifted our anchor an hour ago and are enroute to South Africa now😃 navigating through a tight Channel of sandbanks in Bazaruto right now then 3-4 days to Richards Bay!

I’ve been watching sailing channel almost all of co-vid. I have never commented, liked before but you guys are amazing. Who ever is doing the editing amazing work. Could we see more cooking done and daily workouts or something. I’m fixing my boat and plan to set sail in June. Amazing videos

Check your heat exchanger for the impeller bits. Those will invariably end uo there and plug sections of your exchanger reducing it's effectiveness.
Thank you! We changed our heat exchanger due to some corrosion shortly after this (was not included in the video) so we didn’t check for the bits.
