I just saw clips on this show on Netflix, started watching and got hooked!. I am on my third season and I just fall in love with the all its characters, especially Elizabeth and Jack. Not sure though if want to watch Season 6 as I found out Jack Thornton's character has been written off from the series.

I ran across this show by accident. I've watched all episodes several times. I love the love between friends and neighbors and Jack and Elizabeth are a great example of how relationships should be. Episode 10 in season 5 however devastated me. This show revolves around Jack and Elizabeth. It is incomprehensible that right after their wedding-for which we waited five years-they seem to have decided to kill off Jack. This is beyond wrong. Without Jack, as good as Elizabeth is, there is no show. WHAT ARE THE PRODUCERS AND OR ACTORS THINKING? THIS IS NUTS. With all the American TV, This show has far more quality (like NCIS LA) than 99% of TV. BRING BACK JACK. EVERYONE IS WAITING FOR THE NEXT STEP- A THORNTON BABY. I am not minimizing the other characters-they are great-but without JACK/ELIZABETH, the show is over for me.
Even if daniel left the show, they could have just ended season 5 with a happily ever after ending, and even though I would be sad that the show is over, it would be better than doing another season of the show, but jack not being there.

Comecei a ver essa série esse ano, meio por a caso na rede Record ( Brasil ). Amei , q casal lindo !
Mas logo descobrir do afastamento voluntário do ator Daniel, da série. Q virada repentina! Bem...na minha opiniao a serie perdeu o seu brilho. A química entre o casal era única.
Mas acompanhando o comportamento dos dois fora da telinha, entrevistas, shows era claro uma cumplicidade que atravessou a ficção.
Desconfio que o verdadeiro motivo do afastamento do Daniel foi ele ter se apaixonado na vida por ela. E que principalmente ele não soube gerenciar isso com a sua vida secular. Tudo que foi colocado como justificativa por ele e produtores da série, na verdade não convence ninguém.
É certo que a decisão dele foi respeitada, mas se lamenta o fato dele mesmo ter se prejudicado. ...É claro que ele tocou a sua vida, seus projetos, construiu família, mas na minha visão ele não deixaria de ter tudo isso, e ainda seria lembrado como um excelente ator que considera o seu público.
