I'm a salaried individual having capital gains hence i have to fill itr2. In that form, I've to separately fill basic, da,hra components. However, certain recovery of salary is happening due to excess salary paid earlier. There is no columns for deductions. I can't deduct this amount from basic as it will effect my nps, where to show this deduction.
@@SarrKata In case of receipt in arrears or advance of any sum in the nature of salary, relief u/s 89 can be claimed. In order to claim such relief, the assessee has to file Form 10E. The Form must be filed before filing the Return of Income. This is in case i get extra salary, in this case my salary is getting deducted. I'm asking about where to show this deduction
