There is nothing more beautiful than what God has created!! Breathtaking!! We had a very similar vacation experience in March of 2020. We were in Missouri at the Bass Pro lodge/resort and everything we had planned on doing shut down because of Covid. This ended up being one of our favorite vacations! We did lots of outdoor adventures & there were no crowds anywhere. ☺️

The wind blows a lot in South Dakota, my brother and sister live in Sioux Falls, thats not too far from where you are at. We were there three weeks ago and the weather was really warm. We live in southeast Iowa so we travel to SD 2 or 3 times a year. We live in town, but still have deer in our yard all the time. My brother's hunted for pheasant a lot too. You should go on out to the Black Hills, its so amazing out there as well. God Bless!

Sand hill cranes in South Dakota! We have a lot of them in Florida.
Yes the dirt is black and Rick that is why it is the best to grow corn , beans and other food
