Thanks for this. My family moved away from Mass in '82 so I kinda lost track of the Bruins. I came back in '87 and that was such a great season. Great memories.
Being from Buffalo I have vivid memories of this Bruins team and the playoff series … games 1 & 2 were fight filled. Miller and Maguire had legendary scraps. Sabres lost most of the fights, we were never at the Bruins or Canadiens level.
Watching the Bruins on TV38 with a set of rabbit ears was the best we could do back then

I went 12 games that year including playoff games against Canadians. I was 10 and my father office was by Garden.

The Bruins and Canadiens are the rivalry that everybody remembers, but each team in the Adams Division had their own, unique rivalry.
