What is amazing to me is that Paul McCartney is rich beyond anyone's wildest dreams and yet he has continued to perform for us. Just think about what we would have all missed had he stopped performing and slipped into obscurity years ago.
Paul McCartney and the Wings, are just beyond stellar 🎉🎉. Paul and Linda brought something special with their group🎉🎉 .They really shared themselves in their music 🎶 🎵, cause some of the real beautiful songs 🎵 was about him and Linda, and his undying love ❤️ for her. This is a couple who made songs 🎵 that people could relate to and make good memories from 🎉🎉
Thanks to my sister who bought us this LP, in 73. I was 12yrs, my brother was 9 yrs. Remember lying on the carpet and blasting music off the turntable, got scolded from our parents. Played it till we learnt to o sing it. Still got the LP. Sweet memories 😊❤
The little Wing Jimmy McCullogh was very underrated ,that guy was awesome. Denny Laine was awesome ,may God bless both their souls and Linda's ,great band.
1974 I was in Aldershot on the all arms P Company (Parachute selection course). This was always playing. Passed the course and went on to be awarded my parachute wings and maroon beret. What great times!
this song always takes me back to a memory somewhere around 78 or 79 being about 5 yrs old in the back seat of my parents car headed to my grandparents house in lexington mi. anticipating seeing all my cousins and so excited about the fun we were all about to have together😁
this is from "Wings over America", McCartney's 1st post-Beatle tour back in 1976. The album itself, Band on the run, was recorded and released in 1973. I saw this band May 16, 1976 in Landover, Md. I was 14
@@fairmounthotelhotel2711.. A whole bunch of us camped out overnight to get tickets outside the old Olympia stadium in Detroit. Got tickets for both nights.
🙌💯💪👊👑🪖🏆 LISTEN THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS BRAH ,My daddy buckled me up AND BURNT OUT 🔥🔥 55 CHEVY MAGZ RAISED WHITE WALL AND WE LISTENED TO THIS SONG!!! Pretending to be the men on the run. SIMPLY GREATNESS THE BEST OF GOOD MEMORIES SONG! MAN ON THE RUN SAILOR SAM. BLESSINGS TO THESE GREAT LEGEND 🙌 AMEN
The actual rehearsals and recording with Paul Linda and Denny while Martin produces is alot of fun to watch especially considering the robbery, stress, then all of it had to come back to memory. Its wild shit to say the LEAST
I was there for this show sitting 1st row, right in front of Paul, best + most exciting concert I've ever been to, even till this day priceless! Rocklove ArtyThan ☆♡☆
paul was the workaholic guy, john was the comedian, ringo was the yes guy and George was the silent killer (in a good way). Overall that chemistry worked very well for most of their carrer. Anyways, all 4 of them are super talented musicians individually and obviously as a band. I mean they're mostly ranked as #1 musical group to ever exist. They've successfully defeated the test of time and are still a big topic of discussion even after 50+ years of Beatlemania. That already says something about the fab four.
Even Paul admitted Lennon was the leader/boss. John was the artistic Genius and the best songwriter and voice and spirit of the Beatles. Paul was the main musical arranger, amazing bass player and songwriter but Lennon was always the leader of the gang and that’s why George and Ringo preferred John’s songs over Paul’s songs 🤷🏽♂️
From 1963 to 1983, he did. Not so much after that, though he did co-write Elvis Costello's 1989 hit "Veronica." As of 1991, the music industry changed and McCartney's kind of music was pushed out of the mainstream.
Beautiful........................came back to seventies..........................Wonderful Paul voice.................and Linda........................
Early 70s... What a time to live
Absolutely with all happy thoughts!
RIP Denny Laine you left us a great soundtrack
Paul always had such a good attitude . Thank you for it and your 🎶🎶🎵 which lifts our souls .

I was 6 years old in 1973 when this song was released.

Decidement ce morceau de Paul ...oups !😊

J'adore le style très pop anglaise de cette chanson, et à l'époque je la passé en boucle ❤
Lennon gets a lot of credit, but Paul McCartney was the engine who drove the Beatles after Revolver. He's a musical genius.
I agree with your comment, but Lennon was a musical genius too. He was the engine that drove the Beatles until Sgt Peppers.
So unnecessary. Can we just enjoy this music?
George, will ALWAYS be my favorite Beatle ❤xxx
Love Wings band though

This was a great band
It seems to me that musicians like Paul McCartney have hits falling out of their pockets.
From 1963 to 1983, he did. Not so much after that, though he did co-write Elvis Costello's 1989 hit "Veronica." As of 1991, the music industry changed and McCartney's kind of music was pushed out of the mainstream.
Como no recordar ( banda escapando)!!
