love this type of videos so much!!! we can hear conversational Japanese with English and Japanese subtitles!! AND the content is very interesting too!!! PERFECT!!!!!!!
Anyone visiting Japan, Yoyogi Park dog run is well worth the visit, especially the small dog run. Make sure you check out some of the pet stores but don't faint when you see the prices. lol. Great video Risa. Cheers.
From what I've heard, there are many places in Japan where it's not allowed to own pets, as it might disturb neighbors especially in residential areas with small spaces between houses/apartments. That would give me the idea that all these people are quite wealthy and live in spacious houses. Well, the way they selected their preferred dog breed also seems to indicate significant wealth haha
Yeah, it is very difficult. Remember though, if you're looking at the JLPT classifications, N5 isn't expected to understand anything other than basic Japanese spoken slowly. So don't be too hard on yourself. I have my days when I can get by and with context, I can understand about 50-75% depending on what the conversation is about. Other times, I feel like I couldn't be more done with the language. Just got to remember that every little bit helps and that you should keep on striving to get better. がんばって!
i love dogs i love learning japanese ilove risa bieng the host andd i have a dog named puppy its weird its name is puppy but cant help it it only responds when we call it puppy and my mum kept the name for it
@@HanyuuHOLO Part of the camera that helps keep an image from being under/over exposed, here it was over exposed, parts of the white dog was bleached out, the grass in some cuts were comepletely whited out
Ahh - I knew Risa was a dog person. All the best folks are! A lovely video. Interesting to see how people look after dogs in the big cities. Risa is obviously a very charming interviewer - easy to talk to. And very stylish too.
Most Tokyoites owning a dog seem to treat them as toys. You should NOT wash a golden retriever once a month! You should not dress up your pet with ridiculous clothes unless it's extremely cold. I see dogs with long fur wearing coats in August here and it's pure madness.
Sure but it's hardly unique to Japan, though. There are a lot of pedigree/purebreed dog breeders here in the UK, for example. There's no problem with it if the people involved are responsible, but of course there are those who just want money and run "puppy farms" - those are just terrible.
i care. its important to know the temperment & other specifications. having a dog is more then just having a dog roommate and any dog will do. u think just any1 shud have a cane corso? dogs have a purpose / speciality & not paying attention to the indiviual dogs needs is some hippy annoying vegan faux animal lover b.s. dog breeding is only bad if its puppy mills
@@leavewe the comments still up so i'll respond if i want too. are pugs the only dog breed? why specifically should all dog breeding be banned because of a few problematic breeds. nonsense point.
Finally a new Risa IRL video 😭😭😭
Ron-kun's owner seriously redeemed my faith in humanity. Such a kind man

Gretchen is the diminutive of Gretel or Grete, which are diminutives of Margarete.
Gretchin are also a species of goblins in the Warhammer universe.

Thank you Japanese people for adopting the cute doggies and taking care of them!!!

I've heard from a German teacher that Gretchen actually is a (lovely) diminutive form of "Margarete". And yes, it's from Goethe's Faust.
Loved the interview! Thanks for uploading!
Amo a Risa 🥰

You should lower the iso a bit, the dogs were really over exposed

Why don't you tell us what pets cost in Japan... cause it's ridiculous. I really want a pet here in Japan, but can probably rather afford a car.
I think they're expensive in general no?
@@Crouton- a bit more than general here in Japan. But I guess that's if you buy them in a pet shop. Around 400000 - 1mil Yen

it's really sad how much japanese people seem to care about dog breed and purebreed stuff
that's really harmful and dog breeding is not okay

Dog breeding is only not okay if it’s a bad breeder.
