Finally a new Risa IRL video 😭😭😭
Ron-kun's owner seriously redeemed my faith in humanity. Such a kind man
So funny when Risa says hello to the dog then puts mic down to them so they can respond. 😂😁
These irl vids are the best!!! More plz!
Gretchen is the diminutive of Gretel or Grete, which are diminutives of Margarete.
Gretchin are also a species of goblins in the Warhammer universe.
🙏
love this type of videos so much!!! we can hear conversational Japanese with English and Japanese subtitles!! AND the content is very interesting too!!! PERFECT!!!!!!!
7:40 fire in spanish is "fuego" but close enough lol
I was gonna comment about the same thing, but you did so good enough, and yes close enough won't put her down, my Japanese that I'm trying to learn is and always will be atrocious. LOL.
To the japanese H and F sounds are very similar, maybe when the lady heard the word fuego she thought it was huego. Basically, the history of Kanji all over again.
This was a fun video (and thank you for the subtitles too!). ありがとうございました!
Thank you Japanese people for adopting the cute doggies and taking care of them!!!
Loved the interview! Thanks for uploading!
7:49 finally shibe
Love this content, nice video
Amo a Risa 🥰
I've heard from a German teacher that Gretchen actually is a (lovely) diminutive form of "Margarete". And yes, it's from Goethe's Faust.
Anyone visiting Japan, Yoyogi Park dog run is well worth the visit, especially the small dog run. Make sure you check out some of the pet stores but don't faint when you see the prices. lol. Great video Risa. Cheers.
risa is simply awesome
10:31 is so cute hehe
13:20 is my favorite part
From what I've heard, there are many places in Japan where it's not allowed to own pets, as it might disturb neighbors especially in residential areas with small spaces between houses/apartments. That would give me the idea that all these people are quite wealthy and live in spacious houses.
Well, the way they selected their preferred dog breed also seems to indicate significant wealth haha
Any idea about 2 bluetooth microphone, one for you and one in your hand for the others?
I have 4 cats
They're members of the family
Wow
Risa what breed did you have as a pet?
The one thats alive
😝😝😝😂😂😂. This is crazy ,, For then it’s food at hand and the owner of the German Shepherd sound like Pain from Naruto shipudem 😀😀😀😀😀😲😲😲
thought she was gonna say "leeets ask japanese!"
😅
There is no patreon link in the description.

A dog should go outside at least 2 times a day. 3 times is desirable.

im trying to learn Japanese N5 but its hard to understand the conversation without subtitles
Yeah me too, I can understand some sentences but other go way over my head
Yeah, it is very difficult. Remember though, if you're looking at the JLPT classifications, N5 isn't expected to understand anything other than basic Japanese spoken slowly. So don't be too hard on yourself. I have my days when I can get by and with context, I can understand about 50-75% depending on what the conversation is about. Other times, I feel like I couldn't be more done with the language. Just got to remember that every little bit helps and that you should keep on striving to get better. がんばって!
It's just me, gretchen's owner has a powerful anime voice..
So the strays are free to adopt?
I have two inkos and two momongas in Japan.
I thought Risa would adopt a dog herself at the begining, later I discovered that she was only doing an interviews.
Does Japan alow service dogs??
oku no hito ga reskyuu o saiyo shite kurete ureshidesu
You should lower the iso a bit, the dogs were really over exposed
what's the iso?
@@hanyuu8672 Part of the camera that helps keep an image from being under/over exposed, here it was over exposed, parts of the white dog was bleached out, the grass in some cuts were comepletely whited out
@@Crouton- Ohh I see so you're like knowledgeable on the subject of cameras and that stuff
@@hanyuu8672 Yeah kinda
I would love to be Risa's pet.
りささんは昔から苜大型犬飼ってたんですけと🐶🐩🐕散歩ちゃうと🚶♀️リボっちゃうありましたね。
Ahh - I knew Risa was a dog person. All the best folks are!
A lovely video. Interesting to see how people look after dogs in the big cities.
Risa is obviously a very charming interviewer - easy to talk to. And very stylish too.
Ask Japanese pod 101
Most Tokyoites owning a dog seem to treat them as toys. You should NOT wash a golden retriever once a month! You should not dress up your pet with ridiculous clothes unless it's extremely cold. I see dogs with long fur wearing coats in August here and it's pure madness.
if u are speaking english why the sub is in eng too... maybe is better if u do subs in 日本語
Many people like me are not native English speakers so English subtitles really help us understand. Because when you're not native it's not that easy to understand every word, specially when talking with accent like Japanese do (I'm not saying this as an offense I love their accent, but it's just that for people who are not native Eng speakers it may be hard to understand every word)
Why don't you tell us what pets cost in Japan... cause it's ridiculous. I really want a pet here in Japan, but can probably rather afford a car.
I think they're expensive in general no?
@@Crouton- a bit more than general here in Japan. But I guess that's if you buy them in a pet shop. Around 400000 - 1mil Yen
Risa san, can you pet me?
First 😀
it's really sad how much japanese people seem to care about dog breed and purebreed stuff
that's really harmful and dog breeding is not okay
Sure but it's hardly unique to Japan, though. There are a lot of pedigree/purebreed dog breeders here in the UK, for example. There's no problem with it if the people involved are responsible, but of course there are those who just want money and run "puppy farms" - those are just terrible.
Dog breeding is only not okay if it’s a bad breeder.
i care. its important to know the temperment & other specifications. having a dog is more then just having a dog roommate and any dog will do. u think just any1 shud have a cane corso? dogs have a purpose / speciality & not paying attention to the indiviual dogs needs is some hippy annoying vegan faux animal lover b.s. dog breeding is only bad if its puppy mills
@@milkchan202 thanks for necroing my 2 year old comment...
explain why pugs exist
@@leavewe the comments still up so i'll respond if i want too. are pugs the only dog breed? why specifically should all dog breeding be banned because of a few problematic breeds. nonsense point.
adopt me please
Amo a Risa 🥰
