What your forgetting here is the power of wilderness reclamation especially with Vivian, since the goal is to spit out massive hydras you will be wanting to tap out to squeeze the most out of your mana base, and wilderness reclamation is a powerful way to leave a surprise hydra for defense or to spit out 2 massive hydras a turn.
New viewer and subscriber here, I really like how you present the cards In your videos, it reminds me a lot of the commanders quarters. Anyways I really like your videos and I hope you continue making great content!
This is a great dech tech for hydra tribal. One thing you seemed to have missed though is that Gargos's second ability triggers when any player targets your creatures with a spell. That means any instant or aura you cast that targets your creatures also triggers a fight! I've been working on a Gargos deck that centers around auras, and its very fun seeing Gargos nearly wipe the board every turn while my creatures get bigger.
Thank you for the feedback and for watching. That is a good point, and I didn’t take that into consideration when building! I went more of the hydra tribal route! I could see how that could be powerful!
I like to include Tsunami in my mono green and gruul builds to help combat blue decks. It might be meta dependent, but it hasn't been a dead card in hand for me. Spring Cleaning is another good interaction piece that can potentially deal with all of opponents enchantments
From what I've tested so far Hunter's Insight and Warriors' Lesson are also amazing ways to draw cards AND can trigger Gargos' ability. For ramp Nissa's Pilgrimage can be sometimes a better Cultivate/Kodama's Reach in mono green. What do you think about these cards? Also will we get a $100 upgrade episode? This deck looks amazing and I think that with a little more budget it can really be powerful :)
Those are great inclusions, I didn’t see those when I was building and I really like those for the deck. Great call out! Nissa’s pilgrimage is also a good one for the deck too! Not sure if I’ll have time to get an upgrade one in this time, there are so many great commanders to build from C19. I’ll see what I can do though!

Thanks for the video! I already had a Gargos deck but I felt it needed a boost, so I got some upgrade ideas based on this deck tech.

Tsunami could be great! Most pods i play in have at least 2 blue players. Might be a good way to even the playing field! Thanks for the suggestions!!
Gnarlid Colony is also super good in this deck, it's a 2 drop that gives each creature with a +1/+1 counter on it trample. Plus it's real cheap

Your channel is great, if you keep adding polish you'll definitely become one of the top MTG UA-cam channels. Content is fantastic!
Thank you, I appreciate it!!
Amazing video thank you so much. Looking forward to future content.
Would a dragon throne of tarkir work in this deck for the creature ramp and trample?
this is a really good semi budget list
What doyou think I should remove for asceticism? One of the protection spells?
I find mono green very fun and strong for a mono color deck
Imagine this with garruks uprising giving em all trample and ram through to one shot someone
Is it possible to make 100-150 gargos cometitive deck?
Awesome video are you going to make commander 19 $100 upgrade
Yeah! I’m working on the first one now!
Primordial hydra?
Great card! Was too much for me to fit into the budget build, but if you have one definitely put it in!
@@BudgetEDH only reason I ask is because it's my all time favorite card, thank you so much for replying!
For the algorithm

vigor is 3GGG. not 3GG
just realized something..... NIGGAS WHERE ARE THE MANA ROCKS!?!?!?!
This video aged poorly. Most of those hydras are waaaaay more expensive than they used to be
