See objects with infrared radiation. Use theater gel to filter out visible light/sunlight and just leave the infrared rays/heat energy from objects to reach your eyes. The materials needed are not everyday ones and will have to be purchased from online stores: Congo red and Primary blue theatrical light filter gel sheets (~$9) but enough for 4 goggles and welder's goggles (~$7). What colors will you see everyday objects in infrared? Experiment with different numbers of gel discs, and different color combinations but have the same in both eyepieces. CARE! You cannot look at the Sun with these goggles, they are not eclipse goggles.
