Good afternoon gentlemen and thank you for that great reaction. Yeah this is an older track, however Gamma Ray's newer album is from about 2014. Kai Hansen works a lot and has been touring with Helloween and Avantasia. If you are looking to check them out more songs like Beyond the Black hole, Lust for Life, Heading for Tomorrow, Tribute to the Past, Last before the Storm, Rebellion in Dreamland, Land of the Free, Man on a Mission, Valley of the Kings, Strangers in the Night and Armageddon are all brilliant. Great choice, the album really blew me away back then, especially because of the quiet "rough" voice at some parts, for a Power Metal Band. I've never knew that before, listening to stuff like Edguy, Rhapsody, Sonata Arctica etc. :D
Id especially recommend "Land of the Free", "Rebellion in Dreamland", and one that you didn't mention "Send me a Sign".

These are the Intro and first song "Dethrone Tyranny" from the "No World Order" album. I guess it's just been called "Illuminati" for purposes of the video because the intro goes with the song and it's about that general Illuminati-Theme.

Queen is Kai Hansen's favorite group. You can hear a lot of influences in it's music. The ballad "The silence" could be signed by Brian May

If you want more recent tracks from Gamma Ray I would suggest Master of Confusion, Empathy and maybe (a personal favourite of mine) Pale Rider. Otherwise, some of the older good stuff would be Beyond the Black Hole, Last Before the Storm, Heavy Metal Universe (Live!!!!) and of course Rebellion in Dreamland.
Empathy is incredible. My favourite song by them. It is from their second to last album.
From the newest album I would recommend Avalon but there is no music video... 😬

This is Helloween!
Gamma Ray - Insurrection, Blood Religion, Rise, Heading for Tomorrow (with first singer, who is now the singer for Primal Fear). You'll probably get many different suggestions, there are so many good ones, I could make a really long list myself. Careful though, might want to add pauses. Gamma Ray is one of those "iffy" bands as far as getting videos blocked.
Many suggestions is true. Only a CD-revision can work for The Rays. Almost all songs are epic. Start with "Valley of the Kings"-CD?

One of my all time favourite bands. Sooo good! There are too many songs for you to check out on the channel so I would just suggest just listening through all their albums. None are bad but awesome! Kai Hansen broke loose from Helloween after the KOTSK albums and made Reballion in a Dream land while Helloween med Heavy Metal Hamsters... Kai is god. Period!
With that being said Valley of the Kings from their 1997 album Somewhere out in Space must be my all time favorite.

Listening to this song I wished Gammy Ray hand't disbanded. Though the founder of the band vocalist and guitarist Kai Hansen returned to Helloween (another band he founded) not that I'm saying it's a bad thing. I just wish Gamma Ray would return.

This is not what's happening dude. The played live just last weekend here in Sweden. Sure Helloween had it's reunion tour but what I've heard is that the Rayz has a album in the making!
@@brentkey48 Oh okay, thanks I got it wrong. The last album I heard of them was back in 2014 Empire of the Undead. And I head Kai was going to record a new Helloween album in 2020. So I thought he must have ended Gamma Ray. Thank you for correcting me.
@@brentkey48 As for Gamma Ray they have a new drummer album because heard Dan Zimmerman retire from music to take care of his family.
@@gravenwolf6535 Michael Ehre has been their drummer since 2012. Also Frank Black was been brought in 2015 as an additional singer as Kai's vocals unfortunately doesn't hold up a long tour any more. So sure, not the same band as when No World Order was relised but then again that was back in 2001 and four albums ago..

Yeah, the correct pronunciation would have sounded awkward too though somehow... He also pronounces the word debris "de-breeze" in a couple songs. Those crazy Germans...
