Dave Rands have such amazing quality birds that I can only dream and admire from my side of the world, always wish I could visit England to see a bird show and meet these professional breeders or attend a show or two.

This is true my greenfinches go mad when I go with the hat in the Birdroom but not so much the canaries so I try not to forget to take it off These birds usually are very tame Because I put them near my face and stay very calm super calm.

Your videos inspired me as a beginner Gloster breeder myself to start my own channel, they are one of the best breed of canaries there is and they deserve a channel dedicated to them. Hope you will be able to go see Nick&Annalain Barrett's stud soon!

There's quite the learning curve, but I am willing to work and get better and post more videos. I really appreciate your support in giving my channel a plug it will be the help I need and if you were to do it after Nick&Annalain's visit it would make a great segue because I got all my birds from them and they are helping me in my journey as a novice breeder, so they deserve credit for inspiring me in doing this just as much as you did. And by that time my videos quality will sure improve, mind you I am not a native speaker of English so my accent might be a bit rought around the edges, but again striving to improve my English as well!

Enjoyed this one , if I wasn’t a norwich man then it would be Gloucesters ,meet one of the top Gloucester men he was a nice bloke ,and Dave seems the same didn’t seem to hold back on anything was asked ,always something to learn in this game I do use grog but never heard that explanation for going light ,lovely bird room and cages I made some out of plastic it wasn’t as solid as that plastic anybody know what it is
Can you please make a video about how can we keep our siberian goldfinches (carduelis major) healthy? Since they tend to have a lot of health issues, anywhere else except in Siberia

What kind of lighting do you use for your birds? And do you keep them in the bird room year round or do you have them outside for a part of the year to get natural sunlight. I’m very curious as to if this helps or even makes a difference. Thank you for any information you can provide.
