I had no idea waze existed until a few weeks ago, this is interesting. Couple things i don't like about it though, the audio cuts out on most my drives and i suddenly realize it's not giving me voice instructions anymore, and i purpose choose routes to avoid dangerous roads and while driving it'll suddenly change my route back to the dangerous route on it's own (i probably miss a popup telling me it's changing the route because i am driving and cannot look at my phone). These issues have destroyed the usefulness, unlike most people i refuse to look at my phone when driving. so after a few weeks of trying app i think i will go back to google, voice instructions way better. i was just looking up tips and advice before giving up on it when i seen this video.

Use to love wave, but when they started carpet bombing us with adds when we came to a stop. I trashed the app off of everything. I hate advertisements, I will purchases a app that I like so I don’t have to look at adds. Same reason I won’t watch regular tv. Seriously we pay a small fortune for the services, cable, satellite, streaming package services, and still get carpet bombed with adds. Nope, I’ll go behind a paywall that doesn’t advertise. And if they start advertising I cancel. Big business has bent us over for far to long telling us what THEY want US to watch while not letting us pick and pay only for what we want to watch.
Why not explain why all the features don't work on Waze on both Android phones and iOS Apple phones. Also why not tell the new CEO to fix up the issues that lots of people are having with Waze...
If google goes out of business there will be bigger issues. Google holds the largest video database on earth thanks yo UA-cam. They also host a large portion of the internet thanks to Google Cloud. And the largest email system thanks to Gmail. And let's not forget the largest phone market thanks to android.

If google maps had police notification and accident reporting - I'd stop with Waze... Apple now have accident reporting.....
Google shows both of those. Maybe on iphone it is another version of it, but on my s22 and all previous android phones, it has done those things.

Do any of these apps give an audible alarm when you exceed the speed limit !!!!
Nope only on waze if there is a speed camera nearby. There's radar detectors that do warn you when you are speeding though.
