I never read the manga, but long before that episode aired, I found out that Mine and Tatsumi would eventually start dating. When the anime got to the part where Borick was assassinated, it started to deviate from the manga quite a bit, and the only change that really upset me...was the death of Mine. I wanted that! Why was it taken from me? ;A; (not that it leads me to like the show any less, though; it's still really enjoyable.)

Evaen21 Yeah, I totally get that. The last few episodes felt a bit rushed, especially the duel between Akame and her sister. Overall, I wouldn't say the show was bad, but could have been a lot better. I also didn't like how in the Borick fight, people kept talking about their abilities while they were fighting; that's typical shonen, and ought to be saved for parody style shows like Kill la Kill.
