Attack wise maybe because he has a teleport, makes it very convenient aswell as that his ex has a half Ex Reload time. Overall just saving more time and making moving around easier which I'd say maybe puts him ahead of Sfv in terms of attack. Defense both have the uses but once again, klm might have slighy better effects with his evasion but it's nothing drastic. So in defense I'd say both is good in their own way depending on where you use them and with the room setup.
