Bought this set after breaking up with an ex in 03. She is not around but the 8455 Loader still is and my daughter gets to enjoy it aswell. Brilliant Lego set IMO.
Great Video! I love this set it is truly Legendary in LEGO Technic History! I have it myself and got it only this year (2020) 17 year’s after it’s release in 2003. I got mine Brand New In Factory Sealed Box and in absolutely perfect condition.
Desert Eagle LEGO Technic Creations [English] I opened the set and built it but I got it in a Sealed Box. That’s quite rare 17 years on and also an expensive way to obtain the model. But it’s all worth it for LEGO!
Wanted one badly when I was a kid but my mom couldn’t afford it. I bought it after getting my first job. Now hooked back on 2000’s era Lego and am searching for a 8421 crane at a decent price.
I actually got this set as a christmas or birthday presents back in 2003 (I know, I was a spoiled brat). Still have it and stumbled upon this video. Maybe I should dig it out from the basement and put it back together! I have the original box and everything! Seems like they've gone up in value quite a bit, cheapest one in BrickLink is 178 €. I'm not selling mine though, too many great memories :)
Thank you for posting this!! was looking for a detailed review for this old set!
I really like your videos, very informative and these rare subjects add even more value. Thanks for sharing

woah this a proper pneu-donor!! and with awesome solutions, really a great set!
Minimum parts, maximum function 👍👍👍
LEGO really doesn't make pneumatic sets like this anymore. What a shame. This one had so many cool functions.
Yep, this set is amazing
