The US has vowed undying support for Israel, no matter what. Is it then Israel that is leading US foreign policy? From all accounts and not speculation, 35k men, women and children have been killed in Gaza and are now being starved. This makes my country a party to genocide. There's an almost completely ignored story that was posted on an Iraqi Arabic news site that I came across early yesterday (Saturday) morning stating that the wreckage of Missile(s) and/or a plane came down over sw Iraq in an area just across the border from Jordan. I initially thought that an israeli attack against Iran had, somehow, been obstructed through a shooting down of a plane and missiles or through accident but when I returned to the info source on that original story yesterday (Saturday) afternoon, I discovered that it had been taken down. Disappeared and gone. I take the view, as I have since early yesterday morning (in the middle of the night but pre-dawn in Iran) when I first heard of Drones circling over Isfahan and with ABC beginning to talk about a major israeli retaliation against Iran, that a major israeli attack was underway against Iran but taking Pepe Escobar's tweet into account, it makes complete sense to me that the major israeli attack was in some way obstructed by some unknown force along the border between Jordan and Iraq. Did Russia prevent the outbreak of, at least a Regional War between israel and Iran? I believe that to be the case. The fact that Reports of wreckage coming down over sw Iraq disappeared from the internet leads me to believe that Russia did intervene to stop such a War developing, in which case, each and every human being should be on their bended knees thanking Russia for what they did. Meanwhile, every member of israel's 'war-cabinet' should be arrested and shot without trial.

Colossally stupid idea. Iranian assets are mostly underground and therefore impervious to EMP, not to mention that pretty much all military equipment built after 1945 is hardened against EMP.
Such an attack would only cause collapse of civilian infrastructure and prompt a furious response that would cost Israel dearly. If anything, Iran can launch everything they have at once and no air defense would be able to shoot it all down. All Iran's proxies would be also activated immediately. If there was anything left of Israel after all that, it would become a pariah state for being the first to use nuclear weapons after 1945.

Iran has been consistent ,they have been patient reasonable ,cool headed and calculating. The US is in its dying days as an Empire and the US is going out like many dying entities in the past ,a lack of diplomacy in the State Department since the end of WWII and misuse of power post Cold War complete with the co-opting of the American Political Infrastructure by Israel Lobby and certain Corporate interests greenlighted by Citizens United. It is so clear to me that we need massive campaign finance reform to take the money out of the elections. This would have the greatest impact to correct this madness. How about simply put, a person can only contribute to a candidate they can actually vote for and there is a limit of $1,000. If you cannot vote for them, you cannot contribute to them. As for political parties, only party members can contribute with a limit of $1,000/year. No PAC money can be given to any candidate or political party. There are too many details to lay out here. Think about it, we need to make the political leaders accountable to the voters and not the ones that funded their campaigns.

I don’t understand why today anyone really needs so much money to run for office- unless all who run are only interested in acquiring money and power . As a voter I would like to be able to educate myself on a politicians views and philosophies. Seems like simple access to free websites or podcasts for debates could provide that. TV advertisements or news coverage seem only to serve the power brokers and perverse incentives.

Well, if the Russians shot down the F35, so they can actually detect and see it (albeit I heard this "rumor" from other sources before).
Well, so much for that piece of "stealthy" - which is not really stealthy - junk then, they can throw them in the trash and go back to those good old, high performance, high payload, less money, and less maintenance planes.
Once this gets out, sensible countries will cancel their F35 orders.
FYI: I heard this (unverified) story, that the Russians shot down an F22 (also "stealth") plane over their own designated "no fly zone" over their base in Syria in 2018. According to this account, the US pilot was warned that he's being seen and will be shot down if he violates their airspace. He ignored it, probably thinking that the Russians are bluffing. Bad event for the pilot. Supposedly, the US paid Russia $90 mill. for the missile(s?) and to "keep quiet".
