Of course, they made some stinkers in the past, but you don't expect them to do that anymore, although.. Estoque.. very reminiscent of the Jarama, for all the wrong reasons, but they really want to make it happen. I never knew about the history of the V12 though, that was pretty cool to know, somehow that story slipped under the radar for me through the years. Also, those older Lamborghini have extremely firm seats which many people find uncomfortable but, I personally find them comfortable.
Is anyone else bothered by his pronunciation of the model name? The accent mark over the E isn't just for decoration - it tells you where to put the stress. It's a common mistake, especially for us Americans, to stress the A instead, but it's wrong in the original Spanish.
The design is so nice and still kinda modern looking. The interior is a throwback to the 80s. The engine is a throwback to the 60s. Overall, amazing car. Meanwhile, Lamborghini made more Aventadors than Murcielagos, Diablos, Countach, Miura, 350gt and 400 gt combined
All the quirks are pretty forward-thinking. Reverse Button placed by the door because you open the door and turn your torso while steering with one hand to park/go backwards because the murcIÉLAGO is so wide ( _and no backup camera _ ) as is the case with most of lambo’s cars with scissor doors.
The Murcie's quirks makes me love it even more, my all time favorite machine this one. Sure by todays standard a freakin' hellcat or something can blow it outta the water, if someday I ever find one I will never let go
I think they should have updated the interior on later models. Especially 2010 versions and the SV. The Gallardo had a much nicer interior and that came from 2004.
The first Lamborghini made under German Ownership & Engineering Support from Audi and also still one of the best sounding Lamborghini V12s in my Opinion. Murcielagos always sound amazing, especially on the Autobahn at 200km/h + (120mph+ for Americans & Brits) whether passing you or sitting in a Murcielago Also the Murcielago deserved a newer Review, so i'm glad you are reviewing one again Doug! Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
Their final rendition onto S.V model is my all time favourite, had the lights and rear updated to modern standards and some great interior work. That is truly peak Lamborghini imo. With Richard Hammond driving the car onto the ending sunset in dubai.
The gas struts on the hood are installed backwards. The thick part should be higher than the thin part when the strut is in the position it spends the most time in. In this case, although they’re in the right position for when the lid is open- when the frunk lid is closed, the thin part will be the higher part. That is backwards. The reason- positioning them correctly helps to stop the seals from drying out, which causes the strut to lose pressure.
Hey Doug, love your videos. Ever thought of reviewing the Honda accord coupe V6 6 speed? They made them from 2013-2017. Drove one for one of my clients and I would have never expected this type of power from an accord
This car is special indeed. if only everyone in the world played need for speed carbon then they'd know that this car is unforgettable. One of the fastest in the game and its design has become beautiful, now that I myself have aged. Lambo is designing jet fighters for the roads now lol. This one is the most decent.

legend has it after you buy a supercar from Cars & Bids Doug puts a gun to your head and asks for his cut "THIIISSSS....is a .44 caliber Magnum Revolver"
The American pronunciation lacks fidelity to the original Spanish, which has antepenultimate stress, hence the accent on the e, and might be something like 'mercy-ELLA-go'. And if the retort to that is "well, it's Italian", the Italianized pronunciation has a CH sound. "Mercy-uh-LAH-go" is just straight ignorance.
Americans don't like to adapt to pronunciation thats why they change names , take christophoro Colombo .(Christopher Columbus) or Otorhinolaryngology( ENT) 😂
It's too bad more of these cars weren't made manual. Unfortunately Lambo doesn't seem to attract the drivers market. New Lamborghinis I can kind of get it. But this era of cars the automatic options still had a lot to be desired.

Is anyone else bothered by his pronunciation of the model name? The accent mark over the E isn't just for decoration - it tells you where to put the stress. It's a common mistake, especially for us Americans, to stress the A instead, but it's wrong in the original Spanish.
Pure nostalgia with this car be it in racing games or movies, still looks good to this day.
nah this car's styling and cool factor deserves a 10..how can it lose to the Ford GT...impossible.
There are no Lambos like the Murcielago, the Gallardo and the Miura. The Countach and the Diablo are still ok. All the other ones are trash.
you mean, the very first lambo penned by ferrucio was trash?
Ayyy nice to see you guys collaborate!
This is the best lambo ever
All the quirks are pretty forward-thinking. Reverse Button placed by the door because you open the door and turn your torso while steering with one hand to park/go backwards because the murcIÉLAGO is so wide ( _and no backup camera _ ) as is the case with most of lambo’s cars with scissor doors.
Remember when Bam Margera sawed a sunroof into his purple Murcielago? That was tough to watch.
Facts dude 😢
It seems that Doug thinks that the Murcielago is “cool”
The Murcie's quirks makes me love it even more, my all time favorite machine this one. Sure by todays standard a freakin' hellcat or something can blow it outta the water, if someday I ever find one I will never let go
The best noise you can get. Forget LFA
LFA is one of a kind but I wouldn't trust anybody who thinks LFA sounds better than Murcielago
Murcielagos always sound amazing, especially on the Autobahn at 200km/h + (120mph+ for Americans & Brits) whether passing you or sitting in a Murcielago
Also the Murcielago deserved a newer Review, so i'm glad you are reviewing one again Doug!
Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
I'm lucky to have worked on and driven many of the Murci's. I had no idea the production numbers were so low.
I've never seen one and I've been to 40 ish cars and coffee's. Me either now it makes sense.
It’s no Diablo
Ammo delivering my favorite doug cameo is something i did not know i needed xD
Absolutely loving the collabs with Larry. Beautiful car with two of the automotive youtube icons.
I hope to join the ranks someday.
Their final rendition onto S.V model is my all time favourite, had the lights and rear updated to modern standards and some great interior work. That is truly peak Lamborghini imo.
With Richard Hammond driving the car onto the ending sunset in dubai.
Exactly. The murcielago SV is one of the most beautiful modern ish cars every. Like genuinely. It's up there on my list and I know lots of cars.
IT IS already an icon wtf.

Honda had been making the Accord coupe with a V6 and 6 speed manual transmission since 2003. However, those early ones had a 3.0 V6, not the 3.5.
This car is special indeed. if only everyone in the world played need for speed carbon then they'd know that this car is unforgettable. One of the fastest in the game and its design has become beautiful, now that I myself have aged.
Lambo is designing jet fighters for the roads now lol. This one is the most decent.
If this was a Mucielago SV with a 6-speed manual then this video would have been one of the greatest🙌🏽
I believe the SV was never offered with a manual, which is a real shame.
@@Scientist_Salarian There were very few examples sold with a manual which makes them the rarest and most expensive ones
@@SamiKhan-hn3ukmany say that 7 were made
@@speedandmotionIt was confirmed that there were 7 manual Murcielago SV's, 3 white one's, 1 in red, 1 in chocolate/brown, 1 in orange, 1 in blue. The blue one was a pre-production prototype and was converted to customer specifications, it was owned by Valentino Balboni.
It also has a rubber clutch

Love your energy Doug. Makes me happy every time you upload a video
Why is it so hard for people in the U.S. to pronounce the word"Murciélago"?
So true. Doesn't make sense lots of these didn't sell as manual instead of auto.
Watching as my dream car get Outta my reach
the golden age if cars
Facts dude facts. The ENZO. The Carrera. Lots of cars I'm forgetting lots of great cars.
Doug the type of guy to use another car UA-camr's businesses to do a video. Doug the type of guy to find faults with a perfect super car. Thanks.
The leather strap on the driver side sun visor is to put in toll tickets from Italian highways, which obviously the passenger doesn't need to do.
My all time favorite car. It is beautiful and timeless.
no one came here hoping to find out what victor's favorite car is.. this is not about you
And yet, you came here and commented. It is not about me, it is about the car which looks amazing btw.
@@RedMangabeyIt's my favorite car too!
In case you don't know Doug's guest in the video is Larry Kasillo who owns AMMO auto detailing. He makes, distributes and a sells his professional auto detailing products which are second to none. I have used AMMO products for years and they are amazing.
Man do I hate those horrible hex lights. They ruin the video of any car shot under them. Can't believe Larry put those in his shop. I find it very hard to do paint correction with that light source and have to breakout the Scangrips so I can see what I am doing.
Love the car and Doug's review as always. Big thanks to Larry for the hookup
I just made the same comment lol
sometimes I wonder how many parts were created by the part manufacturer and shown to the car manufacturer. How many of them, how many of them got a no from the car manufacturer. for example, did Ford come up with the keypad on the door or did somebody come up with it and they went, yeah take it
Awesome! Finally a video I enjoy! Always wondered if these were two piece wheels
@Doug Demuro: This is one of your best grabs. Thank you so much for this.
This car is insanely outstanding. No other words.

I thought they’d been an icon for years now? The manual Murci’s have gone up considerably in price in the last couple years.
The Ed Bolian effect
The LP640 and above’s engine had a slightly larger displacement of 6.5L
while people are waiting for the revuelto review, here is Doug reviewing a car from 2 gens and 20 years car
Midnight club 3 dub edition made me fall in love with this car.
