早期古巴華僑，大部分以台山及開平人為主，亦部分來自中山，全盛時期，夏灣拿唐人街，共有二十萬華人居住，另外還有千里達及沙華（大薩瓜）亦有大量華人居住，總共有近三十萬華人旅居古巴！
我的曾祖父及祖父亦係古巴華僑，在清朝光緒年間，已經到古巴謀生及經商。
