- UN Secretary General spokesman told media in New York that Sec. Gen has taken note of the Working Group on Arbitrary Detentions Determination on Imran Khan’s arrest and expects positive evolution on Imran Khan.
The first thing about the report of the United Nations Working Group is that it is not a resolution but a formal legal report that can be cited as a reference in every foreign court from the International Court of Justice. It not only paves the way for further legal proceedings but also provides a strong legal basis for them.
Secondly, since Pakistan is a signatory to the UN Charter of Human Rights, this report also accuses the government of Pakistan of violating them.
The third and most important thing is that the government's treatment of Imran and PTI is no longer an internal matter of Pakistan but has become internationalized, which will have further implications that will emerge from various actions.
For example, now the spokesman of the State Department will not be able to proceed by calling it an internal matter of Pakistan.

Yesterday watched your heated argument with Sabir Shakir. I thousand times agree with you that our nation is stuffed with munafqat and lies to every millimetre of their bodies. We dont feel shame in lying. We start training right from our childhood; like someone is at the door or on the phone and we dont want to see them we ask our kids to tell 'abajee ghar per naheen hain'. Train them how to lie and make excuse for not doing something.
