This is such a MISLEADING VIDEO, there is two issues in the video bad pricing of some headphones and bad consumer awareness and choices. First, there are some headphones Wired/wireless in the market like the sony ones which cost a lot of money but they are totally useless from the standpoint of primary use case of headphone i.e. listening to sound/music. You can get similar performance with cheaper products in Amazon - agree on that. Secondly, is the consequnce of DUMB DECISIONS, like 'Listening to Music With ANC' - if you wanted effective ANC should have bought a good pair of earphones instead at similar price, atleast there would be very little wear and tear. if you would have researched properly ANC has negative efffects on sound quality (No matter product type). Also wearing out of leather components can happen even in rare useage due to Climate conditions - its just a fact. Wireless products are always inferiror to their wired counterpart in sound quality, to get comparable sound quality you would have have to spend almost double the price. You made the same mistake and bought another bad product with same problems with the wireless sony one. Rules to follow for buying headphones : 1. CHECK if spare/alternative parts are easily available in the market for that model, like headband, earcups, etc. Also should have different materials available, like suede, fibre, etc. that way you can avoid that wearing out issue. 2. NEVER buy an wired headphones, if it has FIXED WIRES, or the fixed wires are easily replaceable. That is just a big faliure point and the entire headphone will become trash if that happens, extemely tedious to fix. 3. NEVER buy Headphones with FIXED EARPADAS. 4. NEVER buy an wireless headphone, until you are ready to spend 20k or above, for solely sound quality, even in that case they must support all neccesary latest codecs like LDAC, LHDC, etc. else headphone can be good but the bandwith of music it can stream will be hard limited. Purpose of wireless audio products is for utility, if you need ANC get earbuds instead since headphones are harder to create an effective seal near your ear. Wireless headphones doesn't make much sense since adding those batteries and chips alongwith the drivers, to make it viable make them way too heavy, Also the batteries degrade over time needing replacement. they only have style factors IMO. 5. If you are spending around 5-6k you can get, FiiO JT1, OneOdio lineup, or second hand headphones like sennheiser HD550s, Bayer dynamics, etc., if you spend around 10k your options open up more, like Sivga series, Fiio Ft1, Meze classic, etc. I myself bought an secondhand Meze 99 Neo for 10k (original 15k) from the previous owner, it had those wear and tear problems but everything, was easily replaceable. But it sounds way better than any wireless headphone upto aroud 20k. From your video it looks like your research was insufficient, So don't make Broad statements like "don't buy headphones above 5k" without givng proper explanations, it is just content SLOP in that case.
Yes, totally agree with your opinion. But also I put disclaimer that this is solely my opinion on my purchase. From your comment it seems, you have great knowledge about headphones. I'm pinning this comment this will help people. Thank you for pointing my mistakes.
@@ManasSharma Good job for the disclaimer, but you need to qualify it by stating that its not a Review. Often times merely sharing opinion and experience on a product is confused by many viewers as reviews. Forming opinion is ok as long as you are just a consumer. But if you are reviewing a product (which i am assuming you are not) your opinion should also be accompanied with the knowledge on facts and circumstances of the market in the product category, so that a viewer can make effective decisions. Maybe put in (Not a review), (impressions only) or something similar in the Title or Description, as a best practice to follow to avoid confusions in future.
@@mrigankadeyMD That is a very valuable advice. I will keep that in mind. Thank you once again for this kind of constructive feedback. We need more people like you.
