I was diagnosed with disk degeneration disease 17 years ago. I've had 5 major surgeries on my spine and all the disks in the L series as well as S-1. I have so much hardware in my back. My spine began to lean in one spot so much so my doctor placed a rod there. The last surgery my doctor took out the rod and put some kind of cement along my spine in that area.
My pain is STILL OFF THE CHARTS.
After the last surgery I INSTANTLY (like as soon as I woke from surgery!) developed MAJOR bursitis in both hips. All the pain and nerve meds take the edge off, but I am still in level 7 and above 24/7/ Heaven help me if I have to do anything because of the pain during and afterwards. I thought back surgery was supposed to help. I even have a nerve stimulant box in my back because of 24/7 spasms. IS THERE ANY HELP FOR ME???

I gain so much usefull information from Dr. Colbert but with all due respect Mary needs to interject less.
