Beautiful Tongatapu, and Vava’u is another level of gorgeous too, and Ha’apai walking the a’hanga roads and sailing to Lulunga islands on the military skiff the Ngahau Siliva (Sliver Arrow) to see the produce harvest in the Lulunga islands was amazing.
Have several homes now up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with plenty palangi everywhere, but my roots go back to Mu’a, Ahau, Nukuleka on Tongatapu. Tungua, Ha’afeva, Uiha, Kotu, Tongoleleka on Ha’apai. Hunga, Taunga, Talau, Okoa, and Koloa on Vava’u. Moturiki and Tubou in Fiji, and Safata and Fale’ali’i in Samoa. I concur wholeheartedly, there’s no place like home in all the world.
