I love how the entire animal family is taking a walk. Dogs, cats, everyone’s coming along. Cuteness overload. (of course I’m watching the animals at the end, who cares about the … what is this channel about? 😜)

JBL Flips are 1/8 the price and are flat from 65 to 20K hertz. They have an huge all encompassing 3D+ sound stage as well . I've tried Sony, Bose etc ; nothing else is even close . Coupled w a woofer they'd be perfect, altho even w out one , listening to my recordings of my bass don't seem to be lacking much . How many watts are these ? My 5s are 20W . I'm running 3 in party mode so each one is stereo. Surrounded by them in my kitchen , its amazingly great sounding. Is there an advantage to having an actual "Monitor" vs something you'd listen to commercially recorded music w ?
There is an advantage, but it's not a better sounding advantage necessarily. There's a ton of stuff below 65htz that can cause problems and you wouldn't hear it, but I don't know how much better this unf thing would be... small speaker cabinets inherently lose low end, maybe the sub can hit 30htz, idfk. There's also more than FR, Yamaha ns10s are famous af but not because they sound good, "it's like a magnifying glass for the mids" but if you saw the measurements you'd never go near them. It's kinda complicated and I'm probably not smart enough to explain it, BUT! If you have speakers you like get to know them and you should be fine, reference tracks make life easier. Enjoy your music and your speakers is the important part.
Edit: also this unf system really doesn't feel like it should work to me, and in their ads they say things like "reflections already taken into account" so you won't need sound treatment... that hits my ears like lies do, but like I said... I'm probably not smart enough to get it.

I saw those speakers on Glenn's channel. He said they were fantastic for editing your mixes? What say you? You wouldn't have made a video if they weren't any good, I get that they sound great and are very flexible in positioning. I wonder how much it is just for the two satellite monitors/speakers? The non-removable cables on the speakers (I'm avoiding making a "balls" joke 🤣) is a bummer. But I've only heard great things about this product

With the sub they can sound bigger. The great thing is the input flexibility.

Non removeable / replaceable cables? Sorry Kali - you lost my interest at that point. Pity, as these would otherwise be perfect for my setup, but scrimping those few $$$ in the BOM is not acceptable at this price point.
