yes that paid options and seems one more added "MCO Reserve" is what causes the delay. Airports were designed and approved with security checks for a certain number of PAX and Crew. The paid options that TSA has and now most airports also are introducing, takes away 50% of that capacity. Prove me wrong...but before that drive down to MCO and post pic of the general security check lane and the TSA Check lane.
