I discovered this song right around the time my ex husband snaped r worded me and almost unalived me. I escaped and ran in the freezing cold a mile away to the safety of a strangers house. Im still healing as that was only last year. It hasnt quite even been a year but this song brings me so much strength and comfort i feel like this song just came to me at the right time. I wonder if this was a song about her going through abuse then from that, getting away from the man that done this to her for her to finally write about it and explain how she felt fear and decided to not give into it anymore by just claiming back her sanity again because I've been through narcissistic abuse both physically and mentally and it wasn't easy this song makes me think of that.
