All five cards are beautiful. If I had to choose, I’d say the shaker is my favorite, especially after you added the butterfly. I did not know we could die cut with Washi tape. I thought the glue on the Washi would leave a sticky residue on the metal. Thank you for the idea! The embossing folder you used made me think of the “things you can do with background embossing folders” video I watched recently. In it, the crafter completely filled one piece of cardstock with Washi tape. It can be all one pattern (like you used) or with strips from a coordinating variety. One of the embossing folders she used was a brick pattern. I was surprised at how nice the effect was.
Thanks Sue! And thank you for sharing your favourite 😍 It's fine to die-cut as long a it's stuck onto cardstock. It's so thin that I found no difference cutting like this to die-cutting the cardstock on its own. That sounds like a great embossing technique, I've never tried that! Thanks so much for sharing!
Hi again, Sarah. I just discovered the embossing method I talked about in my earlier comment is called “Faux Quilting,” and it can also be done with decoupaged napkins. 🥰
Love how you've showcased multiple card examples with the washi tape and coordinating die. Great ideas. Enjoyed the video!
Thanks Sara-Lynne! I'm so glad you enjoyed it 😊
Gorgeous! I like the one with gold strip in left side! But all are lovely!
Thanks Susan! And thanks so much for sharing your favourite!
Such cute cards, thank you for all your great card making ideas 🤩
Thanks so much Franjola! I'm so glad you're enjoying them! 😍
Very pretty cards. Will have to try this. Like most card makers, I have loads of paper scraps.
Thanks so much! I'm so happy you like them! I genuinely had so much fun making them and arranging all of the pieces.
