Admittedly, it's probably more important in the Netherlands because the new provincial legislatures then elect a new Senate (or "first chamber", Eerste Kamer) in a couple of months' time (with a few seats directly elected on the evening for the Caribbean Netherlands and Dutch nationals overseas). Tis what they were explaining in the intro, that the votes weren't just for the provincial councils but "indirectly for the Senate".
I love this concept of provincial and regional coverage. Wish this was more popular in the States.
What do you mean? Every major network has afiliates to cover the major cities of the United States and usually follow a similar aesthetic.
