Super cool to see how you went about the process of painting such a centre piece. I do look forward(dread) to facing him on many occasions in the future.
Thanks mate, hopefully the tutorial with encourage others to get theirs painted who have been holding off because of what model it is and how daunting it looks.
Considering how nice it ended up it's a bit surprising how it was all basic techniques that most everybody can do, no complicated NMM, no dozens of glazes, not even exotic paints, just a handful of regular GW products that could even be replaced with other manufacturers' if desired, nice guide! :D When i finally get my Quiet Monarch i'll probably follow the general guide (although in other colors, my Necrons have blue glow) :D
Paint brush cover to hold the pot of paint open! Genius haha. Nearly 30 years of painting and struggling with keeping my pots of paint open 😅 another great video thanks.
I already said that I love the color combinations. I find it interesting that you first use Ironbreaker and then leadbelcher I would have assumed that you would use the darker color first.
Thanks mate, yeah that comes from my original paint scheme where I followed the GW colours of iron breaker then runefang for my warriors (T800), but when it came to vehicle's I felt it was too shinny so went for leadbelcher for the second coat, easy for me to remember ha ha
@@IDICBeer I understand, you use an ironbreaker to get contrast and leadbelcher to reduce the shine. interesting concept. but it seems to work very well.
yes othwer kits you got paint guys before you put gether well its well looking good like it and be looking fore new stuf as post thoght going on a rand how cant stand this kinnd of kit nope your wrong LOL had do that joke
